A: The chair reclines as far as I would like it to, but if you would like to recline nearly flat, you may be disappointed.

A: Hello, Thanks for your inquiry! This recliner does require some assembly, which includes screwing the legs onto the seat, sliding the wings into place, and lastly attaching the backrest onto the seat base.

Q: Is this chair supposed to smell?? I just received this chair yesterday. The box that it came in does not smell as bad as the chair itself and the smell is not that of new foam. Smells like mildew.

yep , I love this chair . it's more than I expected . it's a nice size .. comfy . not too stiff. it reclines and then some . it's kinda heavy but very easy to move around w hard wood floor . super easy to put together , just takes some patience . very chic yet elegant . love the way it puts my room together . if your thinking of getting it , just do it . u can always return if you don't love it

After only 3 months, the fabric was showing pilling on the seat and arms, so I covered it with a throw, which only made it worse. Not pleased with the fabric. It also attracts lint. Additionally, it will no fully recline. You can push it back to full-recline, but as soon as I let up the pressure, it pops part way back up, so you can only recline about 75% of the way. I had planned on getting a second one to match if I loved this one...not going to happen. I purchased the navy blue; maybe other colors will perform better.

It’s beautiful and assembled easily. I love the look and texture of the fabric. My only complaint is the seat is really firm and you feel like you’re sitting up high. It may soften with time, I hope it does.
