This cookbook also contains many recipes for home remedies, as well as cooking tips, household tips, barnyard tips and garden tips. This cookbook is more than just a cookbook! You will absolutely love it!

Wanda E. Brunstetter’s Amish Friends Farmhouse Favorites Cookbook: A Collection of Over 200 Recipes for Simple and Hearty Meals, Including Advice and Stories is another fabulous cookbook by this fabulous author. I was excited to have an opportunity to review this and jumped right into it. It may be among my favorite of her cookbooks to date. I have already tried a couple of recipes, including: Bacon and Egg Bake, Barbecue Potato Cubes, Bratwurst Supper and Peanut Butter Oatmeal Sandwiches. They were all delicious. My family and I are ready to try something else. I have no doubts that whatever it is, it will be a hit. I am giving this cookbook a very well deserved five plus stars. I highly recommend it for readers who love to cook. They will not be disappointed. I received this cookbook from the publisher, but was not required to write a review. This review is one hundred percent my own honest opinion.

This is a wonderful addition to Wanda's collection of Amish Friends Cookbooks! The variety of recipes is amazing, from traditional Amish dishes to everyday favorites. There are also sections for condiments, home remedies, and Amish cooking tips. Woven throughout the cookbook are gorgeous photographs of Amish farms and countryside as well as stories and advice from some Amish people. Many of the recipes include a photograph of the dish, too. There's a little something for everyone in this cookbook: breakfast, snacks, breads and rolls, main dishes, desserts, and more! This cookbooks is wonderful for anyone who loves the Amish culture and lifestyle, as well as any country kitchen! It would make a sweet wedding gift, too. I have made several recipes from the cookbook already, and my family has enjoyed each and every one. I will enjoy using this cookbook over and over! Wanda E. Brunstetter, creator of Amish Friends Farmhouse Favorites Cookbook, is an award-winning author that specializes in the Amish romance category, and has sold more than 10 million books. Amish Friends Farmhouse Favorites Cookbook contains recipes submitted by Amish cooks from around the world. There are color photos of the Amish lifestyle and of some of the recipes but not for every recipe. I have seen some of the recipes, or very similar, in other Amish cookbooks and online recipe databases but that is to be expected because the recipes have undoubtedly been passed around among the Amish for years because they are so good. Some of the recipes use specialty items like spelt flour, coconut flour, cheese powder and stevia. And some use convenience items like canned soups, canned fruits and bottled juices. The number of servings are not listed but it is obvious from the amount of ingredients listed that some recipes are meant to feed a crowd. Two recipes that I found especially interesting is Farmer’s Dust, which is a spice blend that can be substituted for seasoned salt, and Salad Krispies. Those sound like they’d be an interesting replacement for croutons on a salad. The book even includes a chapter entitled “Home Remedies and Tips”. I received a copy of this book from Netgalley, and am reviewing it voluntarily.
