Quality is subpar. The paper backing buckles immediately, the shelves keep falling because the sides are shoddy particle board, impossible to align front doors due to flimsy frame. Really surprised Target would sell something so poorly constructed.

Gorgeous piece for the price
I pushed together three of these cabinets under my TV as a makeshift “TV stand” and wow it is gorgeous. My only complaints are about the assembly which was a bit complicated when it came to the doors, and the inconsistency across pieces (shade of wood varies and some doors hinge higher than others). Also for some reason two of the cabinets I received will not sit flush together so I had to rearrange them. All in all, beautiful high-quality looking piece with decent storage inside.

Color variance
Just wish I could count on the color to be more consistent. Bought 3 to go together and one is definitely darker tone wood and rattan. Can't fix that so have to buy another and see if I get a better match. Then move one to other room. My sister paid $1600 for similar cabinet from design store and certainly is not made any better and showing wear and door gaps and rubs. I love price of these! Took hubby hours to put together though and get them straight.

This cabinet is definitely not black. The color was stained inconsistently and would describe it as an espresso brown. There isn’t a lot of play in the hinges even after adjusting. The paint would likely chip over time because the door may touch.
