Nice, sturdy unit. In my area, I have hard water. I still see white spots while using the filter (leaves faint white spots in the glass). The filter itself is all metal, nothing plastic. The water runs hard and nice. Overall, it's a nice water filter.

I moved into a house that uses
I moved into a house that uses filtered well water. My landlady next door said she uses bottled water because while our water is potable she does not like the taste. I had this filter from my previous residence so decided to try it. No more brown water and it does improve the taste. When I changed the filter for the first time, it was quite dark for all the hatever?it had captured.
