Why did I wait so long?
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Why did I wait so long to buy these stair treads? I think I was concerned that they would slip and therefore add to the problem of my children getting hurt on the steps. I was wrong....they stay in place and provide a safe, attractive cover to our 2nd floor stairway. #sweepstakes

We needed to provide traction for our elderly Lab on our uncovered, finished oak stairs. Our motivation was no damaging hardware was needed for instillation. But sadly, the treads migrated from the original desired placements even after applying the Stair Tread Instillation kit. The treads now remain in place since I applied double sided carpet tape to the short sides of the treads with the Stair Tread Instillation material spanning the middle section. I'm now happy with the treads. They provide traction for our Lab, the stairs have incurred no instillation damage, they remain in place and look great. I would only recommend these treads with stipulations, (additional methods to prevent movement).
