No. Just no. I only needed red, which wasn't enough to make what most people use red to make.

Love these since we don't do artificial colors. I love pastel colors and these are great for that. You will not be getting vibrant colors with these if that's what you are looking for

Worked for what I needed it for. The colors are vibrant. Of course, because it’s on the natural side they are more pastel. The red is more of a beet color, so if you’re looking for a true red this isn’t it. Washes off hands pretty easily.

Pastels but natural and fun

I appreciate that there are natural colors available. I would rather frost cookies in less vibrant but still fun hues than pay with my family's health. There is a reason many countries have banned artificial dyes. Do your research and support those offering an alternative.

I like that this product is as natural as can be for those who are allergic to the dyes put in most items on the market. I tried making ‘red’ pancakes in a heart shape for Valentine’s Day, but the beet dye made it turn more of a purple and changed the taste of the food. A bit of a disappointing experience for my kiddos.

Honestly not sure how so many people were caught off guard by the saturation when it shows you what the colors will look like. You’re not going to get vivid artificially bright colors with steeped spices and vegetables…

Pretty dull colors. Good if you’re into that muted/pastel look. But there’s no way you’re getting bright colors.

I bought these for a holiday cookie decorating party I threw for my daughter and her friends. I made the icing the morning of and was SO disappointed in the colors. The red was definitely not red. It was more of a violet and the green was not your typical true green. Unfortunately I did not have time to go buy more food coloring so the girls did not have true red and green to decorate their cookies.

I needed a “natural” food dye for a cake, but they didn’t want to spend a ton of money on the fancy stuff. This dye worked ok, but was pretty muted. I used almost the entire bottle of blue for like 3 cups of frosting and it was still a light blue. Don’t expect to get super vibrant colors. If you want bright colors with plant based dyes you will need to look elsewhere. If you’re ok with pastels, this will work. Just don’t mix it with regular food dye- I tried using this red with my regular gel blue to make purple and the red got VERY overpowered. I got it to a lavender, with it eventually turning grey by the end of the day.
