This just goes to show how much people DON’T read! It literally says on the back that you have to use ONE TUBE for a container of frosting or whatever it is that you’re using it for. So yes! It’s going to go fast because it literally says you should add the ENTIRE TUBE!

I would not recommend these. They are not very concentrated — if you want a bold color, you will need at least one entire tube. They also make frosting very oily. My buttercream after using these colors was very oily and wouldn’t crust, making the designs worthless. Don’t buy these unless you want pastel colors and can have oiled down frosting. I’m sure they’d be fine to color cake.

I had only purchased the old fashioned food coloring before purching these. I loved how easy using this food coloring was and how much less of a mess it made. The colors were also so much more vibrant than original food coloring packets.

The colors of the tubes are misleading - the pink is red, the purple was very dark- almost eggplant… etc The purple was also very chunky and not useable at all. It was a mess when I opened it and had oozed all inside the lid. I do not recommend this box of gel colors.
