A: You can dye multiple eggs with 1 color. For egg coloring, mix 1/2 cup water, 1 teaspoon Watkins Food Coloring, and 1 teaspoon vinegar.

A: Our food coloring was developed and safety tested for human consumption. We do not have safety data for dogs. That said, the coloring ingredients used in the food color are free from artificial dyes and are plant based and should generally be safe for dogs as well if consumed in typical amounts. However, we would recommend they check with a veterinarian to be sure.

I used the green to color shamrock cookies for St. Patrick's Day. When I went to bed the cookies were green. When I woke up, the icing had turned brown overnight. They look disgusting! This was a lot time and money wasted. I won't ever buy this junk again!

Colors are not vibrant and the red is purple the instant tap water is added. Straight up purple. The green is more of a neon green, it’s pretty but not at all like the shade on the box. I will stick with McCormick.

Oh my gosh- RUN don’t walk from this natural syrupy food coloring if you’re trying to make colored cookies!! I think it made the cookies not bake well either. If you want pancake yellow Christmas trees instead of firm bright green trees, this is the food coloring for you!! Please! I know you’re curious about making something healthy and more natural, but this will not impress your guests!! You’ll need to call your cookies something else genius!

I love these artificial dye-free food coloring so much. Originally bought to make a purple frosting for one daughter's bday, then made a rainbow frosting for my other daughter's bday. We've since used them in other things like pancakes, which didn't turn out quite as great but the kids still had fun! My sister is less concerned about artificial colors in food, but noted that she loved how these look great but do not stain kids' hands/faces the same as artificial.

Based on reviews, I knew these would not be super vibrant and would have an “off” color. But they were better then I expected. I did have to use more more then I would with regular food coloring, but again this is expected. Room for improvement but I will use again considering it’s the only food coloring dye free in store.

I used them often and I like the fact that they are more natural than the other brands but the color is not strong enough, when I bake something or even pancakes and I add the color, you can barely see it when you bake/cook the food. But I will continue to use this brand just because is more natural.
