"Your dog's coat is gorgeous!!"

My adolescent, high-energy GSD has been on Wellness since he was 10 months (started with the Puppy formula). I mix the dry with the Wellness 95% canned meat. He gobbles it down and has zero issues with it. But the best part is, wherever we go, people marvel about his coat, which is shiny and soft. He's a black and tan GSD, so you can really see the shine. I don't give him any supplements; he gets a bath once every six weeks or so. I attribute his gorgeous coat to Wellness. I've been a fan of Wellness dog food for many years; used to feed it to my Shelties. I highly recommend it.

Switched to this dog food so my dog could have more healthy grains. He never eats more than one serving, has lost weight because of that and has had runny stools. After some investigation, I see that garlic powder is one of the ingredients and that is not something dogs should ingest as it causes red blood cell oxidation and can be dangerous!

Hi Jakes mom, we're sorry to hear your dog did not do well on our Complete Health Lamb & Barley recipe. At Wellness we added only a trace amount of garlic to some of our pet food to increase palatability and aroma. While it is a member of the onion family, garlic does not contain a meaningful amount of disulfide, which is the substance found in onions that can be harmful to cats and dogs at a high dosage. As with most things, the old saying "moderation in all things" applies to garlic. It would require a massive amount of garlic to cause a dog to become ill. Some studies even show that small amounts of garlic can actually be beneficial to the health of pets. The garlic powder and amount we use is approved and safe to feed. If you have questions please reach out to our Consumer Affairs team and refer to case# 818978. We’re available at 800-225-0904 M-F | 8-5 ET, or email info@wellnesspet.com.

I have been feeding Wellness food for 3 generations of dogs, sizes Rhodesian Ridgeback to Dachshund. I am willing to pay more for good quality food for my beloved companions. My current dogs are smaller and get an average amount of exercise (a little less during the New England winter) for small dogs. They don't need the amount of protein a working dog would. One of my dogs had a high protein level in her urine. I started her on Lamb and Barley and weaned her off the higher protein containing Raw Rev and Grain-free food. Protein level fine now.

My dog loves all the flavors but she just enjoys wellness anything honestly. Her coat is so shiny and healthy, her nails grow so much it’s hard to keep up. She’s only 2 and she has so much energy and is always happy! This food just brings the best out of her!

Only feed my dog Wellness & her coat & nails grow like crazy. She’s 10 now & just now getting arthritis but is still full of energy. My vet said it’s really good food. I believe she’s going to live well beyond her lifespan because of Wellness.

This can be a little pricey but my dog enjoys it. I did some research before buying this brand and it seemed to be a good choice. My dog is a husky Akita mix and is a little on the larger size, about 65lbs.

Have had three male standard poodles, that have been the very active sporting dogs they are meant to be. As soon as this dog food hit the market, I made the switch and never looked back. My current dog, Lucca is 11 and still devours his kibble and is very healthy and active.

I really like that this brand has a lot of consciousness towards holistic and natural dog food. It’s a bit pricey but I think my fur babies are worth it. They are both little dogs and love the food.

I have spent so much time and money in finding the right dog food that I have given up and ended with this brand of food. I'm not saying at all that I dislike this but it is my dog who is very picky. This is the only brand that she has actually stuck and lasted the longest and is actually still on this food. It is a bit pricey but I have to stay with this because my of picky dog.

We found my dog had a food allergy to chicken, so we switched over to the Lamb & Barley. My dog loves this food and we can often use it as treats because he loves it so much. Very high quality food without the high end price
