Wet Brush Go Green Paddle Detangler Hair Brush

It broke while brushing my hair.

I have two of these - one in each bathroom. For the price, I would expect them to not look like this in a year when I don’t even use them that much. They are both in rough shape, and one is really not even useable at this point.

This is super cheaply made. I thought it was really good At first. It was one of the best brushes I've used since I used to use denham paddle brushes (they took a downturn), but it didn't even last six months before the little knobs on the end of the bristles came off. and before a year was up entire bristles were coming out altogether. Now I have to find a different hairbrush and I thought I solved that problem.

Bought one of these in June of 2023, I cleaned it regularly. Somewhat vigorously. It is now almost 2 years old and still looks new, but a few of the bristles are finally pushing in so I need a replacement. Coming back for seconds because my hair is thick and this brush could handle it, without damaging it. 10/10 If you're looking, go for it.

Unlike regular wet brushes, or even the mini and pro versions, the tips on this one are barely there and cause pain like they're scratching your scalp. Will likely store this for the future to blend hair dye but otherwise will need to purchase a new replacement wet brush in either regular oval shape or paddle for daily use as my current one is about 10 years old and the bristles are bending and the coating is flaking off.

This brush worked wonders for my curly hair. I usually have a hard time brushing through and this made it so much easier!

This is very cheaply made. The little ball looking things on the ends of the bristles came off, so now the bristle is sharp. It hurts my scalp everytime i brush my hair. Crap!

Oh wow. I saw this brush on clearance and kept seeing the price fall. I have very thick curly hair, that is dry and prone to breakage, and this brush is incredible. I am able to brush it & I’ve never had a brush this gentle or that removes so little hair. It’s worth the full price!!

We have gone through about 10 different hair brushes. Looking for one that could get through my kids tangles. This one works.

I love the big paddle brush compared to their oval brushes. Lightweight and easy to use. Doesn’t pull my fine hair. The bristles do bend and distort when used close to a hair dryer.

I’ve never had the easiest time brushing my thick, wavy, Hawaiian hair. 11/10 hands down best brush I’ve ever owned. Brushes through my non-stop tangled hair like butter. Reduced my hair breakage significantly!

This brush is amazing!!! My daughter has thick, tangly hair even when we use conditioner. She is also tender headed. She never even winces when I use this brush. It works through her hair so much faster.

It’s amazing! It detangles my thick hair in no time. It also does the job without pulling out a lot of hair.

If you’re thinking $16 for a brush?! YES. Get it! For years my hair dresser had recommended a wet brush and I just ignored him. Well. After having my daughter, my long and thick hair would get sooo knotted right above my neck. It got so bad last week that my entire hair was tangled up, it was BAD like I thought I was going to have to chop it off. This brush amazingly and magically was able to get my tangles out and I was SHOCKED like I don’t even know how it does what it does while looking like some ordinary brush but it does and I can’t believe I didn’t buy it sooner. So, YES, this is a $16 brush you definitely NEED.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first wet brush and I am loving how it detangles my long, crazy hair while causing minimal (if any) breakage compared to other brushes I’ve tried! The only thing I don’t like is how hard the handle is to hold. It’s just very narrow and hard and it kind of hurts my hand. A soft grip or gel-filled hair brush handle would be awesome!
