This lip color lasts but looks dull and stays mostly only around the edges of your lips. I felt the need to wear it with gloss but didn’t last long at all with gloss. The color is ok.

I just bought this and was really excited to try it out! When I put on the liquid matte lipstick the color payoff was pretty good but it was after it dried down that the product went down. My lips would stick together as if I put glue on them and it wasn’t transfer proof. So I thought maybe the gloss would make it better, I was unfortunately wrong. The gloss is so extremely sticky and just really didn’t flatter the lipstick at all. I love wet n wild, they have much better lip products than this. I wouldn’t recommend this!

I'm a lip color junkie. I've tried lots of brands and most long wear does not live up to the hype. This one does for a great price. Plus, the applicator is amazing, have never seen one like this. The sponge has a slight curve to it, which gives you a nice point if you want to use that for lining. Looking for a nude, I chose Lotus Petal over Nude Illusions, but that was a bit peachy. Will try Nude Illusions next.

I bought this last night in the color Dark Wisteria with no expectations whatsoever. I just wanted to try it out quickly so I didn't even prep or line my lips. I put the color on first and I decided I wanted it a little darker so I put a second coat of the color on. The color went on very nice. Then I tried the gloss, normally I'm not much of a glossy person but it went on very smooth and looked great. I was pleasantly surprised. The total shock comes next, I wasn't really going anywhere so I went to wipe the lipstick off and the gloss came right off but the color stayed put. Not one single smear, nothing on the napkin. So I went to the bathroom and got the cleanser. Tried once and tried twice, not a speck of color came off my lips. Finally, I did the right thing and used the makeup remover. I loved the color stay for the right price! Way to go Wet N Wild!

Full disclaimer I just used the color to test wear duration, so it might be different with the gloss added. I got sizzling siren since darker colors are the ones that tend to show wear first. Admittedly I didn't prep my lips at all so I was expecting some patchy wear after a few hours that I would chalk up to user error. I put on the color, let it dry for about a minute before anything else touched my lips and.... Holy crap, 24 hours later, yes 24 hours, I finally used a clear gloss to remove it. It passed the eating, drinking, and sleeping test. Not a speck of color on my pillow! The fading was pretty much non existent. The picture I included was at the roughly 18 hour mark. Yes I know my application was a little sloppy, but I didn't think it was going to last for 24 hours! With the color alone it does feel a little dry but not nearly as much as some other far more expensive 2 step lip colors. I'm a little weird, I don't generally like the feel of most glosses so it didn't bother me at all, but it might be a little off putting if you're not used to it. After removing it there is a bit of staining left, but using an actual makeup remover would probably pull the rest of it off. Very happy with this, I may just throw out all of my other long wear lipsticks.
