And yet, even still, it’s hard to believe that Easter is less than 2 weeks away. 🌷 As I’ve watched the trees and flowers begin to resurrect, I find myself hoping that our stories will find new life, too, that we will rise up from the multitude of challenges we’ve endured this last year stronger, more grateful, more compassionate. Isn’t that what the Easter story teaches us—that pain and suffering and injustices won’t win, that stones still get rolled away, that new life is always a possibility? I don’t always believe that. But I want to believe it, for the sake of my own story and for the stories of my kids. I think that’s one of the reasons I love writing books for kids—because I get to create messages of love and hope that families can read to their little ones over and over. 🌷 This week all of my books are “buy 2, get 1 free” at Amazon and Target.
