Q: does anybody else have their food and ice smell of coolant from the freezer? horrible!!!!!

Q: How long does this refrigerator need to "rest" upright in its spot after shipping before being plugged in?
A: I let mine sit upright for 24 hours before I plugged it in, still leaked, replacement did also. I gave up, got full refund from target.

A: Yes, this unit has a separate freezer section that will freeze ice and keep ice cream frozen.

Q: Is this whirlpool refrigerator freezer big or small
A: Galanz Care Team. If the freezer compartment was 18.11"x37.18"x15.86", then that's 6.2 cubic feet. The whole thing is only 4 cubic feet.

A: According to the yellow insert ENERGYGUIDE: Estimated Yearly Energy Cost $39. Estimated Yearly Electrical Use 325 kWh. It does not state an actual Energy Star Rating number.

A: The label on the back of the refrigerator states 68.34 lbs, as does the User Guide that came with the unit.

A: The noise level on this model is less than or equal to 42 dBA. It is quiet enough for a dorm room. However, please be informed that this model uses a compressor to keep the interior compartment refrigerated. The compressor does not run all day continuously but it only runs when the temperature rises above the set temperature and then it will turn off automatically until the next cycle. The sound of compressor might feel louder when it breaks the silence waking up from a stationary phase.
