Description
The Whirlpool 4.0 cu. ft. refrigerator is perfect for additional kitchen space, a dorm room or for lower level family room entertaining. Additional features include a five can dispenser and 2 liter bottle door storage. When placing under counters, the suggested distance between the product and the cabinets are: 2" per side, 0.5" on top and 2" on the back.
DEFROSTING:
Frost built-up on the walls of the freezer section will decrease energy consumption and reduce the efficiency of the appliance. Defrost the freezer section whenever the frost reaches a thickness of 1/4” (0.64 cm).
1. Remove food and ice cube tray from the refrigerator and freezer compartment.
2. If the model has a drip tray, be sure to place it under the freezer compartment to collect water. It may be necessary to empty the drip tray during the defrosting process.
3. Turn the refrigerator off and unplug it from the outlet.
4. The defrosting process can take several hours. Open the door to speed up the process.

6. Reset the refrigerator temperature.

A: my unit freezes ice. it also holds ice that I took from my other freezer and put into it however it smells like propellant or it has a very chemical smell to it so I can't use it.

A: Galanz Care Team. If the freezer compartment was 18.11"x37.18"x15.86", then that's 6.2 cubic feet. The whole thing is only 4 cubic feet.

A: The noise level on this model is less than or equal to 42 dBA. It is quiet enough for a dorm room. However, please be informed that this model uses a compressor to keep the interior compartment refrigerated. The compressor does not run all day continuously but it only runs when the temperature rises above the set temperature and then it will turn off automatically until the next cycle. The sound of compressor might feel louder when it breaks the silence waking up from a stationary phase.

It was great until it died after one year
It worked in the dorm room, but then after we moved it very carefully (upright, not on it's side) it just stopped working...well, it sporadically worked, then just completely died. Unfortunately it's just over the one year warranty so we are pretty disappointed. I would not recommend.

Delivered damaged and poor return service
Can’t say if the refrigerator is good or not. The item was dented and all glass shelves inside shattered. It was very obviously damaged with box disintegrating and glass spilling out, but delivered and left on doorstep anyway. And then Target said they couldn’t get someone to pick it up, so we had to deal with all the glass falling out and get the item all taped up ourselves to be able to return it. Maybe if you pick this up in store, but don’t get it delivered.

Freezes every thing
I bought this fridge after a great deal of research😅what an idiot I was totally wrong. it roughens my fruit and vegetables. This freezes it all then I turn down and that's not enough to keep everything good either and I'm careful not to over pack. wish I would have bought full size fridge. I called target few days later. someone was supposed to call me back but they did not. I bought mine in store and lost my receipt. I am going to try selling it.

Target customer service was excellent in assistance when placing this order! I am very happy with my purchase, and this Whirlpool mini-fridge came delivered within a week in “perfect condition” from California to the Chicago/Northwest Indiana area without a scratch or dent on it anywhere! It works efficiently and keeps food cold, as it cycles quietly on and off as necessary. I only wish the door had less can holders and more compartments for another 1/2 gallon jug, quart and pint size bottles and containers of condiments, dairy products and juice. Other than that one point, Whirlpool and Target certainly do not disappoint when it comes to this dependable mini-fridge!
