Effective !
I bought the fence to keep my curious and playful cat from flinging litter out of the litter box once it started its cleaning cycle. He has since given up trying to fling litter out and now just looks at the LitterRobot from afar. My apartment is much cleaner because of it!

Scratcher subverted
Have one kitty, Trouble, who was scratching the edge of the box every time she used it, dislodging the inner cover along the edge of the dome. Enter and employ the guard, walla, she still scratches but the liner is safe. Thanks, another crisis averted!
