Horrible quality
The taste was very off and overly fishy. I had to throw it away because I started to get nauseous while eating it. I regularly eat fish, including tuna, but this was completely inedible. I would avoid this product at all costs.

Sustainability unlikely!
After doing less than 5 minutes of research it seems very likely that this isn’t at all sustainable and the sustainability claims in the item description offer no details. Country of origin is Spain and yellowfin tuna is depleted in the Atlantic Ocean. It is also typically caught by purse sein with bycatch issues and a lack of regulation in international fisheries. It’s easy for a company to claim that “sustainable methods” are used, but there’s no specifications listed and no reputable certifying organization listed.

Not quality
As someone who eats tuna frequently, this was not fresh (or frozen while fresh. It had spots of discoloration, and appeared to be bad, even when kept in the freezer and cooked within a week of purchase.

Too strong fishy flavor
Buy flounder. Cod. Or mahi mahi. This is too strong. I tried. Twice. Tried with Cajun blackened and relish and still too fishy for Us.

Good food but high price
This tuna tastes great, but for a store brand I think it is too expensive. There are cheaper options at competitors. Otherwise, this is a great product.

Small size
Strongly dislike. The bag is labeled as 4 servings and there are 3 pieces. While this may really be four servings based on weight normally this would indicate 4 pieces. Will not buy again.

Good protein
I oven baked mine. The fish was fine. No smell that I could discern. It was little dry but that’s because I didn’t use any oil when I baked it.

Sometimes good, sometimes just okay
It really depends on whether you get a good bag or a so-so bag, but sometimes you get tuna steaks that are stringy wth tough fibrous connective tissue, and sometimes you get ones that are smooth like butter.

Weird blood vessels or parasites
Was very excited about this yellowfin tuna. Cooked up my three fillets, and when we cut them open, to our surprise there were tiny little worms/parasites/or blood vessels? Inside the entire fillet. See attached picture. I couldn’t even eat it. Two of the prices had this and the 3rd one did not.

Fishy and discolored
Package had three decently sized pieces but one was significantly brown and discolored. Smelled fishy right out of the package and did not improve with cooking... nobody in my family wanted to eat it. And yes I know fish will be fishy, but GOOD ahi tuna does not stink/ taste this fishy.

Delicious
Very delicious, easy to cook, and good to have on hand! I grew up eating fish like ahi, aku, mahi mahi, and other great pacific island catches. For you people saying it tastes fishy, it’s a fish, duh! What were you expecting, chicken?? Get outta here with your reviews upset that a fish tastes like a fish. Pretty silly! If you are truly a real fish lover, this is a great option for when you can’t get it fresh!

1 fillet missing
nutrition label says 4 servings with each serving being 1 fillet. i opened the bag to only see 3 fillets so that was a bummer. taste is pretty good, depends on how you season it of course. nice macros & portion size.
