They are definitely delicious and meaty and have just the right level of sodium making them very tasty. Excellent on toasted sourdough bread with little butter or mayo for breakfast. Start your day with omega-3. I love the sardines in oil.

Wild Planet canned fishes are by far the best I've ever had. I would need to take out a second mortgage in order to be able to afford them on a regular basis. :-) So, for now, they'll just have to be how I treat myself. I highly recommend.

(Based on the first can that I opened.) Skinless and boneless Salmon pieces were firm and tasted very good. However, it was too salty. I would like it better if they used only half as much salt. For the other cans, I will try to soak it in plain cold water for some time. I did not have to discard any un-edible (unlike other brands I have tried) portions from the can. Highly recommend it.

Toasted a slice of Rye bread! Brushed the bread with Mayo mustard blend. Put the sardines on the the Rye, chopped some onion to top it, and put a few drops of franks hot sauce ! A cold beer is in order!

I have been a big fan of Wild Planet sardines in water with sea salt for many years. Eating at least one can, sometimes two a day. I was looking for a replacement for the salty, brown, oily anchovies that I was getting from my local grocery store and discovered Wild Planet brand of anchovies. Let me tell you, these are are absolutely delicious. They are very similar to the sardines in packaging, size, quality and taste! No more of those little brown oily jarred anchovies for me! It'll be Wild Planet from now on!
