As a food chemist myself, I felt the need to comment on this chip, which I rarely ever leave reviews. This food is odd.The texture of the chip is a bit strange, but ok. Initial taste is maple, middle taste chicken, then end note is dog kibble. You only realize the dog kibble taste after 2 or 3 chips in a row. 2 stars for effort. Hope they reformulate this one.

Tastes just like honey bunches of oats cereal. I love that there is a sweet option so I can alternate between sweet and salty chips. Decent amount of chips per serving. I love that it is made out of chicken. The BBQ flavor tastes just like Lays BBQ. I don't feel like I am missing out on potato chips. I can eat these without the guilt. A but pricey but worth it if you are low carb.

Bought these for the novelty of them and more protein is always good. But man I can't force myself to eat more than 3 or 4 of these chips. The so called hint of buttery maple flavor is the overly dominant flavor before it changes into a gritty almost burnt flavor before the chicken bits left in your mouth start to rehydrate. I had to check the bag again to make sure this wasn't some sort of dog treat left out on the wrong aisle.

Not for me or my co-workers. I took 3 flavors to work; BBQ, Chicken & Waffles, and Sea-salt & Vinegar flavors. 15 people first-time tasting. Common consensus was they didn’t like them. A common criticism was how they linger in your mouth after a normal chip would have completely dissolved.

Why did they go up a dollar? They use to be around $8.99 now they are $9.99 and even cost more than the Quest. This has to be new because we just bought some a couple days ago. My mom loves these because of the sweet taste I’m guessing its the waffles’s taste.

Bought these on a whim and surprisingly ended up really enjoying them. Definitely innovative to say the least. I love that these are shelf-stable and easy to transport or toss in your bag as you’re headed out the door. Wish they were a little more affordable but the cost comes with the first ingredient being antibiotic-free chicken breast. You’re getting what you pay for. Taste is.. interesting. I personally really enjoy it but the sweetness might throw some people off. I say give these a try at least.

Seems like these are a “love them or hate them” item, and I loved them. I personally loved the flavor and texture. Yes there is the savory pop of chicken flavor at the end, but I really liked the balance with the initial sweetness. My only gripe is they seem expensive, but then again they are not made from cheap grain.
