Unsafe, stainless steel split open
Pros: This bottle was easy for my toddler to use. She figured out how to open and close the spout easily. It was a good size for her to hold. It also fit into car cupholders and her diaper bag without leaking. I liked that the straw was silicone. Cons: HOWEVER-- only 5 months after buying this, it developed open cracks alongside the bottom where the rounded rim meets the straight vertical edges of the bottle. See the photos. This bottle was used daily but gently— placed on the table at mealtimes or put in a diaper bag. She did not run around with it dropping it. It was never put through a dishwasher, I ONLY washed by hand. This is not safe because the opened rim has a sharp metal edge. Water can get stuck in there, and the bottle will never fully dry and possibly get mold. I do not recommend this. For the price it should have lasted longer than 4 months.

I make a point to only purchase dishwasher safe items. Online, they state that it is dishwasher safe, but the product clearly says that it is NOT dishwasher safe. There are tons of other brands that are dishwasher safe and work better.
