A: Hi Dhirad, The locking mechanism only available on the top drawer. The rests of drawer are without any locking function.

The metal bars can only be installed in the area of the drawer with the predrilled holes. They are too far apart to use standard file folders.

This product doesn’t even deserve one star. If I could give it zero, I would. Everything wrote in the other 3 reviews is spot on. It came in so many pieces and we knew it wasn’t even worth it to put together, but tried to anyways. When we tried to take it apart, the drawers wouldn’t even come out so we could get it apart to send back. There’s also a couple pieces that are cardboard and don’t even stay where they are supposed to be. The drawers are too small to fit in the space they are supposed to as well. This was just a couple things that were wrong with it - there was so many more. Seriously, do not buy this unless you want a piece of trash because that is exactly what it is. Trash.

Don't buy if you want the drawers to open/close
Awful. Drawers were a fraction of an inch too narrow to actually fit in the slots. I will be returning it.
