I have very fair skin and burgundy-red hair and this highlighter compliments my make-up all the time! It blends so well that it's not patchy and looks so natural! I have oily combo skin and even using this hugely on just by itself looks and feels so natural and classy! Not greasy, or too shiny emphasize textures! I love this highlighter so much! I find that putting it over my blush gives me such a beautiful and lasting glow look. The glitter is so fine and looks amazing when you blended in. It is good for my sensitive skin. I do have issues with some blushes and this one caused no irritation, which is a huge plus. This will last me forever since a little bit of this product goes a very long way! I plan on buying one and every single color now since I've tried this one. I would say that the pink that I got looked really good on my fair skin, but I can see how it can look good on every single color since the undertones of the highlighter can shift. but yes, this is the perfect highlighter for layering onto your blush in getting that doll like look that is so in right now.

The shade I chose is a beautiful soft rose gold that looks absolutely stunning on my caramel complexion. It gives me that coveted 'glass skin' glow everyone's after. I usually go for a "no make up" make up look so this was easily added into my routine. No, I'm someone who's always putting something on her lips whether it's Chapstick lip, gloss lip, oil, lip, balm, even lip liner. I feel like there's a certain type of girls who absolutely love lip oils and if you're one of the girls who know they love lip oils because they don't really like that sticky glossy feeling this is something you would absolutely love because it doesn't have that sticky glossy feeling it definitely gives the right amount of shimmer and you will definitely enjoy your look. The packaging is so cute and the color is not too harsh. The color I got is pink opal because I like very light sweet tones when it comes to a lot of things and this color definitely hit what I wanted. I might be more of like a super super sticky girl, which is why I gave it a three but if you don't like stuff that is not that sticky then you will definitely love this.

The Winky Lux Cheeky Rose liquid Highlighter is a gel-cream highlighter that melts into the skin for a seamless finish. The highlighter does not lift makeup or cause makeup to separate underneath. The highlighter does smell like acrylic paints and that can be a little harsh to the senses but it is a light smell. The highlighter I have is shade pink opal and can almost be worn in the place of blush or complementary to blush. It is a very high shine so I placed on the back of my hand and applied with my fingers to areas otherwise there was just too much shine for my liking. I have more of a dry skin type currently so highlighting dry areas is not something I would like to do at the moment but a little shimmer is always great! I love the packaging with the applicator for when I do not have dry skin and can apply directly with the given applicator as it is very unique.

This blush / highlight combo is amazing. I say blush because as a pale girl this is just enough of a pink to give me a gorgeous glowy flush! I think on darker complexions it will definitely appear just as a highlighter though. The packaging is amazing and perfect for displaying if you have a vanity! Now the applicator is definitely different. It takes some practice to get use to, but once you learn how to apply with the sponge it is life changing! I do personally still blend out with a brush or my fingers but you could also use the sponge! I do worry about how I will be able to get all the product out, but that can be a problem for future me! This formula blends so nicely and gives such a naturally glowy finish to the skin! Great for no makeup days!

I tested this on top of a powder foundation and a liquid foundation and both applied beautifully! Pairs perfectly with cream and powder blushes as well. Perfect for any routine.
