While this product wasn't as drying as a lipstick, I noticed my lips felt more dry and needed more lip moisturizer on days that I used the Citrine balm. I absolutely love the Winky Lux Citrine Balm. I love using it when I want a flush of color on a no-makeup makeup day or a good pink color on full makeup days. I found it easy to use. So, If I want a barely there shade I went with a light hand maybe one or two times on the lip. If I wanted a brighter shade I went a little heavier and did like 4 applications or more until I reached a desired brightness. I was kind of scared when I saw that the balm was a glitter and pale orange almost gold color but that is not how it looked like on the lips at all. It does leave a very tiny spec of glitter but it looks so beautiful when the sun bounces off of it and honestly it was only noticeable in direct sunlight to me. It does not have a sticky or oily finish but gives the perfect shine. It also didn't have a scent at all and I absolutely loved it. I think it's suitable for pre-teens, teens, who are wanting to put makeup on without them going over board but it's also a perfect balm for women who want a unique shade of pink for themselves. I will definetly keep this balm in my purse rotation and purchase it when I run out.

This lip balm is so neat! I have never tried a ph lip balm before but have always wanted to see what would match my skin tone. I tested out the citrine balm and it had a citrusy scent to it and a very mild flavor. When i applied it, I had applied a few swipes back and forth on my lips to let the color set in. Within 2-3 swipes, you could see the color change like magic. The shade that I got was the perfect shade for my skin tone! It left a very pretty darker pink with a shimmer. When swiping it on, it is clear but when you wipe it back/off, the lip balm is colored so it is really neat. I currently have chapped lips and am in desperate need always for hydration in my lipcare. I found this to be a hydrating balm that worked really quickly. It provided a solid coverage that wasn't super sticky or tacky like others can be. It was a little sticky like normal lip balms are. To remove the balm, I just used a wet paper towel to wipe it back. It was super easy to remove. And lastly, it lasts for quite a while! I wore this to work and by lunchtime, my lips were still pink! I reapplied after and it lasted throughout the whole day. Overall, this is a really neat product and I'm happy I was able to test it out. Winky lux did a great job in finding shades that matched perfectly to your Ph!
