HydroTech 5/8" 100' Flat Jacket Flow Control Hose Yellow

My only complaint is you need to unravel it all the way out before turning on water, hose will twist but once it's untwisted it works great

Have only had the 75' HydroTech Flatjacket hose a couple of weeks but so far it works well. Lightweight.

You have to take your time unraveling this hose because it kinks up/ twists easily and stops the flow of water.

Would have given it 5 stars but it does kink often.

I ordered this today and so far, very, very pleased. I have ordered so many of the stretchy type hose but they rarely last two seasons without springing a leak. I decided to find a company that believed in their products to have a decent warrenty. I am very happy with this one.

We enjoy this product in our backyard. How the hose expands when water starts to flow through AND how the hose itself is never HOT from the AZ sun!

Love the lightweight hose and the fact that it doesn’t kink. The connectors are well made and don’t leak.

Flat.design wad perfect for my wife watering her plants. She does not like the heavy traditional hoses. So perfect for this application.

This is not an expandable hose but a nice flat lightweight hose. Easy to handle and store. A lot less bulky than a rubber hose and built to last.

I work at a nursery and was very curious as to how well this new type of hose would work. So far I’m a fan. The weight is a super big plus for a woman who doesn’t have a lot of upper body strength. This also makes It super easy to put away. I hate having to wrestle with the hose daily as I do this. One other thing I really really like is the fact that I can take the hose nozzle off the hose and put it on the sprinkler and never get wet! It is so easy to fold it to cut off the water pressure and move it around to any place for hand watering or sprinkling. Really saves me time not having to run back and turn off then on the water. I’m hoping it holds up over the years as I use it.

The threaded nylon connector used to connected the hose to the standard hose faucet is not dimensioned correctly. The inside-diameter is too large, and this combined with the soft nylon material, as opposed to being made of brass or aluminum, causes the connector to detach from the faucet with the slightest tug. Also the cheap washer provided leaked immediately and had to be replaced with an o-ring style washer. Not happy.

Light weight, easy to use but I’m having spigot leakage

I gave away an expensive plastic hose because it kinked sooooo bad. This is lightweight too.
