[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was really excited to purchase this pair, especially after loving my first ones from this brand. My Tates are my daily sunglasses, and I get compliments on them all the time (maybe more for how they frame my face than the actual glasses 😜).Unfortunately, this second pair has been disappointing. When exposed to sun/heat they emitted a strong and unusual odor, almost like the plastic or materials weren’t fully cured. It’s not something that fades quickly or can be ignored, and it really takes away from the experience of wearing them. I can’t wear them. This issue makes me hesitant about the brand overall, which is a bummer since I was such a fan. I hope this was just a quality control miss, but I wouldn’t repurchase this particular style again.
