I read the reviews and sized down, the dress was still huge.Sizing is definitely large and awkward.

Pros: This is a LOVELY looking dress - it's comfortable, pockets, drawing waist to tighten, shirt style, color, and pattern. It reminds me of a Vintage Ralph Lauren Fall style dress. Cons: I'm usually a size Medium (5'4, 150lbs), instead of Midi, it fits more like a maxi dress on due to my height. I tried on a size Small, literally made me look matrony' like, still a bit too much material from the waist down, did not tempt to try Extra Small. Best to try on IRL to see if you feel this dress 'fits' right on you.

Insanely huge. Sizing is off by a longshot. I ordered a M and it is more like an XXL. And there is a 14 day return policy so I am stuck with it! SInce when is Target's return policy 14 days? What a waste.

Love the pattern, I got a 2x and it still buckled in the chest area with the buttons. I wanted to love this so much, but returning. Otherwise very good quality

This dress is super cute, comfortable, and washes really well. I’m 5’ 7” and 140 lbs prepregnancy normally a medium, but I sized down to a small and it fits well even in the third trimester. I anticipate it will also fit well after pregnancy with the waist tie cinched.

Dress has great quality, but is too large. I ordered XXS but it was still too big.

This could have been a wonderful dress. But the sizing is way off. I tried 3 different sizes- from an XXL, then an XL then an L- I normally wear an XL or size 16. The first two dresses were HUGE- I looked like a kid playing dress-up in Mommy's clothes. The third was still too long, still too big in the shoulders and sleeves BUT was also too tight across the chest- the material pulled and gaped open around the buttons every time I moved. It was very disappointing- the material is gorgeous- nice and heavy, the drawstring waist was a nice touch, the design was attractive but the sizing was really odd. The dress is also too long- it hit below my ankles. None of the clothes in this latest collab were cut properly- the sizing seemed off in everything I ordered. I have ended up returning nearly everything I bought and passed one jacket on to my husband because it was large enough to fit him! A disappointing collection all around- and I have been buying and wearing Woolrich for over 50 years.

Got the dress and all three colors. It is very well made with more attention to detail than you would expect for a $50 dress. It does run a wee bit on the large size. I would only recommend sizing down though if you like a very tailored conforming fit otherwise get your regular size.

Well made but sizing is way off. I usually wear a medium and when I tried it on and the small both were very big. After ordering two times I just decided to not try an extra small.

It is a nice dress, however it is very large. Recommend at least 1-2 sizes down from the usual. Thick material.

While HUGE, this dress is really cute. I'm typically a M/L (8-10) and had to return the medium for a small. The material is heavier which I like - great for fall/winter with tights and boots. Cinch waist adds some shape. Love it!

Unfortunately, I bought this before there were too many reviews posted. I trusted the size chart measurements, which are way off. By those numbers, I should be a 3X. I'll need to size down at least 2 sizes to make this fit. I can't even tighten the waist enough to make it cinch properly. The fabric is good quality, and the pockets are big.

Fabric is thick but anyone can see though it. Also runs large, I need an XXS and am normally XS-S

This is a beautiful dress with an interesting pattern. However, it’s huge. Even as an oversized look, it’s too large. I’m going to return and try and get one two sizes smaller.

Casual modest outfit. Fits the religious modesty standards I needed it to oblige to. Very oversized. Probably good for nursing and pregnancy (I assume as there was so much room in my bust and my waist). Has pockets which is a plus. The strings at the waist don’t stay tied. Some cord stoppers or cord locks should mitigate this problem. For fit reference I am 4’11” and my measurements are 38” bust, 29” waist, and 37” hips. I am wearing a size S but probably should have sized down to a XS. There is plenty of space in my bust. I would recommend to my tznius or modest dressing friends with nursing children.

Just opened my box, which arrived early. While pulling out the dress, I was impressed with the feel and weight of the fabric. It does run big but with the cord pulled a little tighter, it accentuates the nice deep pockets. It’s so comfortable! Will be a staple in my wardrobe, for sure! Buying the buffalo plaid as well.

This is comically large. I know it shows as oversized on the model, but I"m 5'10" and a size 4. I often wear maxi dresses with heals to work and thought this would fit the bill. I don't mind oversized. But I swear, this wore like a XXL - in my opinion. You need to size down, 2 or 3 sizes if you want a cute oversized maxi dress.
