Women's Button-Front Cardigan - A New Day™

Pretty fall color, yet lightweight. Good transition into fall. I typically wear Medium, but the one I purchased is incredibly small. I would have had to jump 2 sizes for a good fit, but then the shoulders and waist likely would have been wrong. Also, my midriff obviously showed, so to wear it to work, I needed a tank top underneath. Overall, pretty sweater but the one I bought had really poor sizing.

I don’t usually buy cropped tops but I loved the color of this one and I bought the skirt to go with it. The color is lovely and it’s a nice light option for mild weather. Fabric is comfortable. That said, the fit wasn’t great. It was a bit too cropped for my liking, hitting a few inches above natural waist. Probably fits great if not curvy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I normally wear a Medium or large. In the photos I’m wearing a medium. It’s a snug fit. A large likely would have ended up being too big. I love the fabric! It’s really soft and doesn’t seem like it will pull easily. It’s such a great piece for office or date. There are no pockets but I also like the length of the sweater. Super cute and quality seems great but I am almost 5’7 and it is extremely cropped and the sleeves are very short. I usually wear a medium but it was too short even with high rise jeans and the sleeves were way too short. I tried a large in store instead and it was better length wise but the sleeves were still too short. I’m thin so sizing up more would have made it too loose. * also I didn’t factor this into my star rating but please stop using third party delivery services. So unreliable! *

runs small, but still really cute. I knew it was cropped to I sized up two sizes but it is still pretty small. won’t stop me from wearing it with high waisted pants of course :)

I really like the softness and the feel of this sweater. It is thin enough where I would not be too warm but it is also thick enough to be worn on its own. The material is soft and stretchy and the sweater is so comfortable to wear! I like the versatility of this piece because it could be worn over a dress, on its own paired with jeans, or even a nice skirt or a pair of dress pants for the office. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a really pretty blue cardigan I ordered a size small, which is my normal size and I feel it fits accordingly. The top has four cute buttons down the front. You could wear this alone or over a dress or a tank top. The top is very well-made not heavy, so it will be great for the end of summer and early fall evening event events, or even in an office setting. I paired it with a pair of loose fitting jeans. It looked really cute. I feel like it would look great with a cute dress too. I received an incentive to write this review.

This sweater is beautiful, and I'm about to order another in a different color. It's a drapey fabric that isn't too heavy, but it's not flimsy either -- it has some weight to it. The cut is slimming, and it's form-fitting but not in a way that will make you look like a strumpet. You can dress it up or down and wear it in any season. It's long enough to cover your navel (which isn't true for most cropped sweaters). It's got great elasticity (doesn't sag, bag, or drag.) I ordered the medium, and it fits me perfectly. I'm a size 8, just about 5'6", and I weigh 127 pounds. I have muscular arms from strength training, and the sleeves are roomy enough for comfort due to the elasticity of the fabric. This is an all-around lovely and practical piece.

It does have buttons on the front if you want to actually button it up I prefer to leave open however. Also there is a nice ribbed detail throughout the cardigan. This cardigan is just a little bit too short on me. I was hoping for a crop length that would balance high waisted slacks for the office, but this will either show your torso or show off whatever you're wearing underneath. I would have tried to find a slightly longer cami to pair with it, but given the fabric blend I'm afraid it's just going to pill and not be worth the hassle.
