Women's Denim Button-Down Ankle Dress - Universal Thread™

I love this dress. I’m normally a comfy size 8 in Universal Thread Pants/jeans and a 8 in this dress fits so comfortably. I probably could’ve sized down to a 6 because the material of the dress isn’t stiff (because of the lyocell) but I like the room. It looks great paired with a belt at the waist. I’m 5’8 and the dress reaches about the same length as the model. Not a crazy deep v but you still might want to put a tank top underneath. No weird gaps on my smaller chest either. The only thing I could complain about is a pull in some of the seams and what looks like a patched up button hole that I almost missed. It’s hard and looks like the hole was cut and lazily glued back together). I’m gonna order another one and hopefully it don’t have those issues.

The quality of denim used to make this dress is awful.Thats the best word to describe it .Also if you have assets in th hip and and but area you will definitely need to size up a six or 2drom your normal size .I ordered my regular size 10didnr fit my hips and but.Size 12 fitted while standing probably would have benefited from a 14 to prevent gaping while sitting.However it’s a huge No

Symmetrical (4) round oil stains on the fronts of both black and denim blue dresses. The spots are located on the front princess seam on both sides of the dress. The stains are near the pocket openings so they are especially visible when you put a hand in.

So effortlessly chic and easy to style. Great casual transition piece to end summer and layer up for fall into winter. The cut is so flattering, cinching in at the waist. I sized up 1 size and I’m glad I did I didn’t want it snug because of the buttons down the entire length. It definitely gives cool girl vibes. I bought this in black which is slightly more grey with broken in denim look. Love this so much. Definitely great value for the price.

I’m 5’2 and 105 lbs and this isn’t a dress for petites. I ordered a 00 and the top/shoulders were too big and the bodice was too long so it made the hip/pocket area hang down by my thighs instead of at my hips (which made it too snug through the hips). If I were to have it altered in the shoulders, it would have put the hips/pockets in the right spot but then the arm holes would cut into my underarms. I love the concept for a much taller person, though!

I’m obsessed. WAY better on than in the photos, which never happens to me. I am usually a size 8 and I purchased a size 6 and it’s cut as if it was made for me. I have an athletic build and a small chest. I get compliments every time I wear it. It’s also very comfortable - stretchy! - but holds its shape. I never have luck at Target, but this was an unexpected winner!

Perfect fit according to the size chart. No gaping when sitting or bending! I love it!

Ordered size 4 for my 5’5 1/2” 120# (35” bust, long torso & short legs). Definitely needed to unbutton top buttons to wear. Longer than hoped, but description does say ‘ankle dress.’ Heavy material, so won’t travel with this dress, as planned. Should be a nice fall dress with flats & a sweater.

Super cute but I disagree with sizing up. I ordered a size 2 When usually I’m a zero or xs in target Dresses. I sized up due to reviews. However upon receiving the size 2, I wish I got the zero but now they’re out of stock

I sized up and it fits perfect! I love it!! I am a B cup and don’t think this would work with larger chest sizes unless you doubled up the size

This dress has no type of stretch, fits awkwardly to the body. Not flattering at all will be returning.

The arm holes are a little large and it’s cut a little too low for me so I wore a tank top underneath. I bought the blue one and the black one. My only complaint is when I sit down the front gaps between the buttons. I’m going to try a bit of Velcro between the top four or five buttons. I’m 5’ 6”, 123 pounds and no waist or hips. Size 8 was a little snug with no room for shrinkage so I bought size 10.

I got size 2 which is my usual size for this brand, it fits perfectly, I am 110lbs 5’2” however there was a button missing
