Women's Satin Flutter Short Sleeve Maxi A-Line Dress - A New Day™

This dress was a disaster from the start.. I bought it in store and had to wear it the same day for an event.. I saw there was a stain and I only had an hour to get ready. Instead of returning it to the store, I opted to wash it, which seemed to do the trick.. upon wearing it, I had lotion on my hands that got transferred to the dress which stained the dress. I had no more time to do another cycle so I tried to remedy it by washing the portion that got lotion on and chucking it inside the dryer. Well the stain did not even lift. I got tired of the dress and just threw it away and wore something else instead. I was so sad because I really loved the dress. But not worth all my efforts.

This dress got me so many compliments at a wedding I attended! The only con I would say is if you’re bigger chested be prepared to fabric tape a ton around the girls to keep them down- or go up a size!

I felt absolutely beautiful! My only hang up was how low the front was. I ended up putting in a stitch or two to close up the front.

I really loved the length on my 5’1 frame, it hit my ankles perfectly and did not need to be tailored (+ heels!). I will say that this dress is not very forgiving, so seamless undergarments are a MUST. This dress also has a very deep v neck so i had to use boob tape to hold the girls together (size 14 overall, purchased an XL for this item). Overall, great dress - i felt great and comfortable for outdoor and indoor usage.

The back of the dress is very pretty featuring an elegant tie. The flutter shirt sleeves were very flattering. No pockets but the recycled polyester material felt surprisingly soft and comfortable. This dress is a steal for the price. I’d wear it to a wedding or any formal event. I received an incentive to write this review.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was surprised with the quality of this dress when I pulled it out of the bag. It looked really nice and the fabric is silky. I’ve tried on other dresses similar to this and always felt like they showed off every lump in your body, but the bottom of this dress was actually really flattering. That being said, I didn’t care for the top. It’s fitted by the armpits, but has extra fabric that goes out and gave me a weird top proportion. If this dress didn’t have the odd sleeves, I would have loved it, but I just don’t care for the top. I am smaller chested, so maybe if I had a bigger chest it would have looked better, but the dress unfortunately just isn’t for me I received an incentive to write this review.

I ordered a small in the black, which is my normal size. I wore the dress with pasties so that my bra wouldn’t show. The dress is so sleek and comfortable. I got multiple compliments at my friend’s wedding.

Nice dress for the price. Lovely colors. I was between sizes, so I had to return it. It would be awesome if the skirt was lined. A similar style dress from another target brand was a bit better fit and quality since it was lined.

Loved the color and style and the fabric was nice. The only thing its too low cut but tht was an easy fix with a cami underneath

The dress was beautiful. The neckline was deeper than what I needed. I just wore a tank top, and it was perfect.

Beautiful dress. The front is cut very low so a small pin will be needed. More of a mauve pink to me. It does run slightly large. I’m between sizes bc I recently gained 8 pounds I selected the medium instead of the large and it fits great. So if you’re between sizes like me get the smaller size

Super comfortable and very flattering

TTS - perfect !! This may be the best dress I’ve bought in the last year. After my last pregnancy I didn’t feel comfortable with most of the clothes , I gave the chance to this dress and I was impressed!! I just have to fix the V part since I don’t like it lol. Still 5 stars dress (198 lbs 5”2 XL tops 14 bottom )

This is a beautiful, satin-like dress. I bought the blue and mint floral dresses to try for an upcoming wedding I'm attending. I ultimately decided to return them because they were a little too dressy for the "cocktail" dress code, but I would have kept the blue dress if I was attending a formal event. I especially loved the flutter sleeves. The blue dress is lined and not see-through, but the mint dress is unlined and the see-through. If you go with the mint dress, I recommend wearing a slip skirt underneath. I also would have pinned the front of the dress a bit because the V neck is pretty deep (the V in the back is pretty deep as well).

Bought the pink in a L. Neckline is definitely too low but I think it can be easily tacked. Panels under arms are a little big. Also think it should have been made with pockets! But it’s lined and the fabric is beautiful. I’m a natural redhead and the color is very complimentary to my skin tone. I’m 5’4” and it’s not too long so I won’t have to have it hemmed. Feel like a princess in it.

It's pretty but the plunge neckline is absurd and I had stray stitching randomly runnninb across the bottom of the skirt
