This was a surprise. I didn't even look twice at those barrel jeans when they first came out, thinking the overly big legs would look ridiculous on me. Saw it on the sale rack one day and thought to try it on just to see... Turned out it was so flattering! Good thick but soft denim that drapes nicely. The high waist is very flattering with the two darts on the back. It is fitted around the waist and hips. The legs are big but drape nicely and do not stick out like sails. I hate buttoned jeans in general. However, Target buttoned jeans are cleverly done, the flaps are not overly thick, they are thin, soft, easy to button/unbutton, lay flat and do not add bulk to your tummy. I bought the light wash and white colors. The unfinished hems add a fun vibe but I wished the light blue came without the distresses. I added a straight then a zigzag stitched lines at the hems to prevent them from unraveling and going tattered after wash. Too bad the dark wash was out of stock. They do run large. I am 5'6", 118 lbs, 30" waist, 38" hips, regular size 28/6 in bottoms and sized down to a 4 in both light blue and white.

Bigger than I thought they would be, the sizing and the width of the barrel leg. Also a really heavy denim which I do not like. I will be returning them.

They were cute but Unfortunately the jeans were too long. I need a petite length.

I really wanted to love these but I felt like a clown in them. Nice quality and true to size but the barrel was just too much for me, had to return.

Love these!! I’m usually a 12, but they were too big so I sized down to a 10!

I would give the jeans ZERO stars if I could.

Great jeans but these run huge--not like, loose jeans huge, but fall off your hips huge. The size 2 fits more like an 8. Too bad!

I’ve gotten these in every color and love them! Definitely size down 1 to 2 sizes but they are so flattering around the waist. I am typically an 8-10, got a 6 in the light blue and white and an 8 in the black. The black is a slightly different jean, I think it’s a mistake having them on the same page. The black Jean is thicker and doesn’t have the raw edge hemline.

Nothing like the picture! They are 3 times as wide than shown. Both pair went back I have since bought 4 pair of Barrel Leg Jeans from another store and love them. These are too extreme.

I purchased the light blue and dark wash. I’m not certain how I missed that both had raw hems. It’s definitely not something I would have generally purchased as I feel it looks sloppy. Fit is great and they’re a good quality denim. Will have the hems finished as I really like the jeans. Came back to get the black and noticed the photo nor description say raw edge. Fingers crossed.

Please make the black jeans like the other colors! I ordered black and white, the white are amazing but the black looks like they cut open and pair of skinny jeans and slapped a darker fabric strip down the side to make the barrel shape… if you have to at least make the colors the same! The look is so good from the front I wish the denim colors matched between the main jeans and the side panel.

In spite of the negative reviews I decided to take a chance. These jeans are so cute. First time I wore them I got three compliments. I'm very petite. I'm 5'1" 101lbs. I ordered the white ones size 2. They fit perfectly. They are so comfortable. The length is perfect. They are very wide in the legs. I very pleased with my decision to get them.

I love the fact that it can go from casual to dressy change top &shoes.add a little bling.
