Women's Lace Maxi A-Line Dress - Universal Thread™

I really wanted to let the dress as a maternity shoot photo option, but the air lining is just too short. Especially when having to go over a baby bump. They barely covered my underwear in the front and back. I think, even if I wasn’t pregnant, the inner lining would be too short. This dress would be easily five stars if the inner lining was longer

This is a stunning, asymmetrical, floral column dress hitting at the ankles or longer for some! Yes some of you may need to have it altered and taken up but imagine being able to have such a beautiful gown at an adorable price-point! A hem is not a costly alteration and really should be embraced as realistically how can you expect a retailer to produce a garment to “fit” each person to their liking? In a perfect retail world each garment would be offered in short 4’10”-5’4”, average 5’5”-5’8”5’9”-6’2” tall at least that is my stab at it without Googling it/asking ChatGpt to give me a historical background on women’s height averages over modern history…I’m merely going by memory and my girlfriend’s and my heights/knowledge. Beyond such retailers have tried to eek out every last penny by reducing hem fabric allowances to the tenths of inches so that women no longer have the ability to have things altered unfortunately encouraging fast fashion, disposability vs investing in customizable, higher quality fabrics, allocations and design features & methods of sewing that creates longer lasting (not fall apart so easily), better fitting/more comfortable and enjoyable to wear clothing. I truly hope Target is going to champion the return of better quality, reasonable hemline fabric alottages and master better variety design than what we consumers have experienced the past decade of rampant fast, careless, fast fashion that is herniating our closets, burying our donation centers and poisoning our planet. We can’t be so selfish as to clothe ourselves sub-standardly for a blink of seasonal vanity. We need to build a system of garments we buy that we LOVE so that recycling between generations is coveted once again. Yes I do believe that a Target dress can be so well loved and cared for that it can have succession…no it won’t be designer…Marchesa or Alexander McQueen or even one of those delightful Petal and Pup $100-$180 dreamy floral delights but Target is bringing us as close as our budget ever imagined. Wealthy or poor or anything in between the bargain shopper wants gowns and pieces that make us feel divine and this gown is one that blurs the line between runway and reality. We now need to figure out the legacy of our clothing. I’d like to brainstorm how we can get any rotations out to Girls Clubs and families who can’t barely afford the thrift store. A beautiful dress can uplift a girl when she needs it most…perhaps even make a legacy wardrobe chain or even more personable giving chains that spread beyond clothes into the rest of the family…growing into a mentorship…a friendship of a helping hand. For all you tall Target Tall FASIONISTA’s out there…get this dress and start accessorizing dreamy earrings, shoes, hair accessories and hairstyles for planning and executing your next few weeks fall color photo shoots…true MN fall comes ever so quickly. Loved the color and style

This is a beautiful dress for Fall. I love the pretty detailed design in the fabric. I’m normally a size 14/16 and have a larger chest-40C, and the XL fit perfectly. I do wish the slip dress underneath was a bit longer, especially for curvier gals. The dress hits above my ankle and I’m petite at 5’ 3”. It would be nice to have a shorter version option of the dress in the same material design.

I grabbed a Large. This dress was not A line fit at all and it was very tight on my chest (I’m a size 40 C)

Wore the green color to an early September wedding and it was so comfortable and got a few compliments. Definitely true to size

this dress is flattering and is not too long for my 5'4" frame.

Runs 1 size large. So size down 1. I got a small and I’m normally a Medium or size 6-8. Very comfy.
