Women's Mini A-Line Skirt - Ava & Viv™ Black

My measurements are 49 38 49 and I typically wear an XL bottom. The quality is good and the length is just right. I like the overall style and it could be a staple piece to put with many items for several occasions.its lightweight and airy. I will likely pair this with a cute halter top. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The skirt fits really well. It isn’t super tight which is nice. I have a size 18 on and it doesn’t feel like I’m stuffed in or like it was made for someone much smaller than me. The fabric is really light weight, almost like a linen which does mean it’s very prone to wrinkles which isn’t great since I was hoping to bring it on an international trip. But it actually can easily be casual or dressed up which is nice and it’s long enough that you could wear it to work. There is an elastic piece on the back of the waistband, that I don’t think really will function so I don’t exactly understand why it’s there. But overall, it’s a cute skirt if you don’t mind ironing it. I received an incentive to write this review.

I normally wear a size 14-16 and this was a 16 and it fit but it was a bit large, so I will probably opt to go down a size to a 14. The material was very lightweight with a touch of sheen to the fabric so it should stay black with repeated laundering. It puckers and wrinkles a bit, which I do not like, but I guess that is the trade off for this being lightweight. I received an incentive to write this review.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Let me tell you, I absolutely love this skirt. It is so flattering as I my problem area is my lower belly and this skirt completely hides it. I ordered it in size 16 nd it fit me perfectly. I typically wear between size fourteen and sixteen. I have purchased many black skirts but this one fits perfectly. The material is a lightweight cotton. I wear my bike shorts underneath to give it a skort style to keep it modest. Definitely reccomend!! I received an incentive to write this review.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am 5’11” tall and alternate between an 18 and a 20 in skirts, pants or shorts. In this particular skirt, I ordered a size 18 because this retailer tends to run very true to size. The Skirt fit me a little bit tight however I believe a size bigger would have been too large. I liked the color and the actual style of the skirt however, I am an older woman and just felt that it was a bit too short, especially since they were no shorts built into it. Hides my apron belly/fupa like others have said and it sits nicely on my frame despite my wide butt. It's a good length and can be dressed up or down. This is the first skirt I have bought in years (I don't normally wear them) and I'm so glad I did!

Very flattering on an apron belly! Go try on in store to make sure you get the correct size though. My husband said he really likes it! 😉😂

I love the way this skirt really hides my belly and fupa. I did buy one size up anticipating shrinkage after washing. Good length for my short 5'3 frame.
