Cute style but very see-through.

From first glance, I really did like the dress. I thought it looks so pretty and flowy. I wanted to get something for church and thought this would be perfect so I did the target pickup. HOWEVER it is so see-through you can see my jeans shorts underneath. It’s preferably like a swimsuit dress cover or at least make sure you have a dress slip underneath.

Um it’s actually supposed to be $35 it’s clear as day on the tag they try to cover. It is not worth the $45 or the $36 with the *sale* it’s extremely thin. I would have kept it if it was coming up the OG price with the 20% off

This material is ultra thin. Very see through even in navy. I am 5'5" and it touched the floor. Too big everywhere.

It is see through!!!! I am at a military event wearing this dress. I didn’t know it was see through until I sat down on this chair. What th target.

Love this dress. It’s so cute. My only complaint is that the material is a little thin (see thru).

This has potential but the chest is very small.

I came across this dress in store. It was actually a black version and not navy. But it was completely see through. I liked the shape but I would not be able to wear it as you can literally see underwear through the dress. However, I looked at the plum color and I was not so sure about it at first. I tried it on and it is a gorgeous dress once on. The cut is super flattering especially if you are on the chubby side. I usually wear a 1x but the XXL fits perfectly and yes it is very thin but the plum color is not see through. I would say the bottom of the dress lets the light pass but nothing terrible. I love so much that dress and the plum color is so perfect for the fall. I paired it with a jean jacket and it looks great! However, I agree this is totally overpriced and I don’t like that Target put a new price tag sticker on the top of the old one raising the price from $35 to $45. This unacceptable. The cashier at my Target was nice enough to match price and let me pay $35. If you are tempted by the cut, you should try the plum color.

Absolutely the cheapest thinnest dress imaginable. I got the Navy color and it is completely see through. Will definitely be returning.

The photo of the navy dress shows a lined dress. The dress is not lined and is completely see through. You cannot wear it without a full slip layered underneath. Returning.

I read the reviews but ordered because of the cut and color but it is completely seethrough. I would have kept it and worn a slip but it cost way to much for what it's worth.

Went in store to check out. I’m normally a 1x but felt I could at least try on the xxl in store. It was tight in the chest, yes see-thru and paper thin but would I buy it if on sale? Yes. Cotton dresses are typically 2-3x the price and with a slip or bike shorts this wouldn’t be bad if I sized up to my correct size. The chest area was a little wonky. But again, it could be a cute layering piece with a cardigan. I run hot so I don’t mind the thin material. The back is see thru but the front bra area is not.

I understand why everyone is saying the dress is not worth $45- it really is super thin. BUT! I actually love that it’s so lightweight. A slip will solve the transparency issue. It’s a beautiful plum color/pattern. It has pockets. Simply overpriced.

Nice try Target, but try harder. As others have mentioned, the dress is made of thin, see-through material. Also, the v-neck is very low and awkward. Skip this one.

I loved everything about this dress, but it is SUPER see through. You could actually see my belly button through the material!

So disappointing! The dress is beautiful but it’s not lined, so it’s completely see through and unwearable. Definitely not worth the almost $40 price tag.
