It wasn’t tight on my waist and gave mostly full coverage from behind. The material actually felt kind of thick, and I tried to do a close-up picture of the ribbed feeling that the material actually had. I love that they are a textured pattern. The texture is almost like a fine rib. This is such a fun pattern. It could be paired with a matching top or a fun solid color top. For my size X and what really surprised me it’s so comfy and the fabric is soft and holds everything in place even when chasing kids around or going for a swim. No awkward adjusting or digging in. I ordered a size X, and as someone who's 5'9" and typically wears a size 14/16, the fit just wasn't for me. While I really liked the pattern and the ribbed material, the rise simply didn't work. It sat a bit too low, right below my belly button, which isn't what I prefer in a swim bottom. While they might be perfect for others, they didn't quite hit the mark for my personal comfort and style preferences. I received an incentive to write this review.

So I did end up returning these because they are not the best cut for my body. They definitely look exactly like they do in the picture on the model. I tried to turn them backwards to make the waste a little bit higher and unfortunately it still didn’t get high enough. I’m gonna try to order another size and see if I can get it to go up more but if you want a mid waisted bottom, they’re perfect.

I love the texture of the fabric of this suit! It’s thick and fully lined so no worries about it being see through. It’s also comfortable, and not super cheeky. There’s plenty of fabric on the butt. The high cut leg does expose a lot of hip and front, which is not great for me. I also wish it was high rise. I like my suits to go over my belly button. Overall I would recommend it if you like the fit on the model.
