Women's Timex Indiglo Expansion Band Watch - Silver/Mother of Pearl T2M826JT

This watch stopped working just outside of the return window. This is the second Timex watch I have purchased that has stopped working after just a couple months. Do not buy!

I purchased this watch a couple months ago to replace another Timex watch (Women's Timex Easy Reader) I'd had for several years on which the crown - the little button you use to set the time - had come out. I had purchased that watch from Target as well. When I went looking for a new watch, I liked the Mother of Pearl dial of this watch and it's stylish appearance. Unfortunately, after wearing the watch for only a few weeks, I was dismayed to notice that part of the watch crystal appeared scratched. I was unable to clearly read some of the lower numbers (6, 7, 8). Since then, the problem has only gotten worse. Over half of the watch face is now significantly scratched (see photos). This is quite surprising to me considering that the watch crystal is supposed to be mineral glass, which is a relatively hard watch crystal compared to acrylic. I do not have a job or personal life that puts me into contact with cleaners, chemicals, or abrasives that would damage a watch crystal. None of the watches I've worn over the years have ever scratched like this. There are no scratches on the watch crystal of the other Timex I previously wore, which also had a mineral glass crystal. And nothing in my watch-wearing habits has changed in the past few years. In short, I am planning to return this watch to Target because there is no reason the watch crystal should have become so significantly scratched after such a short time and with no apparent reason. After this experience, I would not recommend purchase of this watch to anyone else and I find that my opinion of Timex has become somewhat tarnished. I have serious doubts that this watch crystal is actually made of mineral glass as advertised. What a disappointment, Timex!

Mother-of-pearl face, glows in the dark, arabic numeral analog watch, all for such a reasonable price. Who could ask for more?

The watch is beautiful. The mother of pearl face is pretty, the numbers are easy to read. The indiglo is a great feature. I liked the idea of the expandable band but it was way too big for me. I do have small wrists, but was disapppointed that I had to bring it to a jeweler to have links taken out ( I tried to do it myself but it did not go well!). Overall I woyld recommend this watch.

love the classic style and the mother-of-pearl watch face dresses it up. small enough to allow layering with bracelets. easy on and off. indiglo feature makes it easier to read when i'm not wearing my glasses.

I was looking for a watch to wear to work and have always gotten good performance from Timex. I specifically wanted an Indiglo model for low light situations, and was very happy to discover that it was still made. Not really expecting anything much for the price, I'm really pleased with the mother of pearl face and the overall appearance. I'm also very happy with Target's selection and ease of ordering.

I purchased this watch for myself some time ago. My sister kept commenting to me how lovely it was. so I decided to purchase it for her for Christmas. I checked around on line and found Target to have the best price and free shipping...a no brainer! The mother of pearl face is so pretty on the watch and I know that it keeps perfect time. I received the watch very quickly and would highly recommend the watch and Target.
