"A powerful and deeply honest collection of stories from twelve women at a pivotal stage in their academic journey. With courage and clarity, these personal narratives reveal their dreams, motivation, and vision, while also shining a light on systemic challenges, persistent gender inequalities, and the emotional labor still too often shouldered alone. I wholeheartedly recommend this book not only to early-career researchers, but also to university leaders, policymakers, and anyone committed to building a more inclusive, equitable, and supportive academic system for all." (Prof. Ursula Keller, Professor of Physics, ETH Zurich)--Prof. Ursula Keller, Professor of Physics, ETH Zurich
