cute sun hat but not adjustable

Attractive sun hat, but its "one size" is a little big for me (the Karen Keith sun hat I purchased is marked as a size M and fits me). The interior has a stitched ribbon band (open at the top), it may be possible to tuck something behind it to make it fit better but I haven't tried it. The elastic chin strap will keep it on your head in wind, but since the hat is too big for me, using the chin strap tilts the brim downwards. The brim is about 3-1/4" from the crown. The brim was bent in shipping and has not flattened on its own, I may try wetting the brim it to see if I can get it to smooth out.
