Women's Gauze Cover Up Pants - Shade & Shore™

Ok tall Target ladies Shade and Shore did a good job giving us long length…I didn’t measure then but I’d guess a 33”-34” inseam on these XL’s. They aren’t mega wide leg at all. I’d say just a tad beyond straight leg really and definitely couldn’t be put on and off with strapped sandals on if you have size 10 or larger feet. They are pretty transparent and you couldnt go without panties or both your swimsuit bottom or top underneath to a restaurant or be around children in public. The fabric is soft and flyaway, not of any weight. It is crinkle but not miscue heavy weight. It will stick to suntan oiled skin as so lightweight so wipe off with towel prior to putting on these pieces if leaving the pool/beach. I got them on clearance or I’d have gotten the XXL’s in hopes of peeling out a bit more length. I didn’t read to see if they shrink upon washing. I always washing cold, utilizing darks only detergent, short cycle, like colors & fabrics meaning no touch stuff with finer fabrics. I immediately take them from the wash and lay flat to pull the fibers taut before hanging them to dry on drying rack. I never dry anything but socks and underwear to ensure no dryer shrinkage or pilling from tumbling. Those are the costs of being 6’2” and that I refuse to pay for electricity/waste to attempt to dry on low or air only settings. I plan ahead for garments usage. Always have back-ups in case 1 is in the wash. I have spent a hundred dollars on coverup pants and accidentally had a spouse dry them so my dry nothing rule and never my laundry is ok by me as Zi can’t just run out and easily find long replacement pants or garments of any type. Shopping for me is hunting…serious, big energy effort. I have not looked for any of the coordinating pieces as just picked this up this weekend by chance. I hope Shade & Shore follow a Black brand color formulation so future pieces I find will coordinate seamlessly. I might look for an xxl yet and if I find and end up longer so will exchange these as I prefer longer.

Very cute, but run a little long

The pants in the waist fit great! I love the color as well! I'm roughly 5' 6" and the pants run a touch long. I step on the ankles on the pants quite often! I ordered an XS and am about 96lbs and the length fits like a medium! Works for me because my waist is a small and my legs are a medium so overall I love these. They are see through too.

Well this fabric is terrible! I’m at the beach first day, wearing these for the first time, been here 15 min and a drop of sunscreen lotion dripped on the front of the pants. Instantly a white bleached spot appeared! The green color completely disappeared! I am so mad - and have to wear these all week. With a large white spot on the front. I’ve used this sunscreen for years - never had it bleach a fabric. This fabric is crap! Don’t buy these. 😡

Fabric had worn out with holes after wearing for 4 hours. Super thin.

These pants are very comfortable but the bottoms frayed completely after washing.

The cut is unflattering if you have hips. The pockets sit on the sides, making the hips look very wide.

So stinking cute especially with the matching button up but I need clothes that are easy to wash and dry this should not be dried it will shrink to half its size. Definitely go up a size either way.

Happy! Cute pair of breezy thin gauzy cover up pants perfect for vacation pool and beach days, but not wanting to break the bank. They fit well around the waist, however they were a bit long I had to get them hemmed. I bought them in white and olive green. Looks super cute with a tank top or simply over a bathing suit.

These are so cute and loved them for the beach. But the first time I washed them, in cold, they shrunk about 5 inches. Too bad they’re unwearable now.
