I am 5'8, 185lbs and the Large is too big. I never wear Mediums in shorts, but I had to size down. Besides the sizing being off, these are so soft and comfortable. If you buy the matching top, know that the cream matches the off-white. I have no idea why they aren't named the same color, but it is a true color match.

Indeed size runs big. Be sure to size down for sure. Fabric is stretchy, smooth, and almost reminds me of workout scuba type material. Also, if you get color black, plan to hand wash first few washes separately. Water will run black literally with the dye. Yikes! Perhaps lighter color might be less noticeable but black for sure you’ll need to take special care. Tag clearly says wash before wearing and color transfer may occur. Hoping color will not fade too fast.
