Q: The photos shown for light grey look like cream with white trim (as compared to "cream" option that appears to be cream with cream trim). Is this accurate? or is it more of an actual light gray?

First, these are not light gray as described. Fortunately I read the reviews and assumed they were the beige color shown in the picture, which was true. I actually wanted beige so that worked out well. they run slightly narrow but I sized up one size and they were good. I also added a thin foam insole for a little more comfort. Now they are very comfortable and look great with any neutral outfit I'm wearing. I also have the white sneakers but changed out the laces on the white sneakers with rawhide laces for a kind of preppy and slightly elevated look. I love that they're inexpensive and can be replaced when they wear out as canvas sneakers do with regular wear.

It lookked like it was a cloth shoe, instead seemed to be plastic. It even describes the shoe as woven??? I am going to take them back. I have another pair I ordered so I will check it out first in case I need to return them. Hopefully, Theey will be ok. They did price higher.

I really wanted to like these, so I ordered both a Size 5 & 6 since I’m a true 5 1/2 and there are no half sizes available. The 5 definitely fit better than the 6, however, my heel kept sliding up out of the shoe cuff with every step. Still, I thought totally fixable with heel guards. Then I checked them out in the mirror. The sole appears clunky and too thick for my liking. The back of the shoe is straight with no curvature to hug the heel and overall gives the appearance of making my ankles look thicker than they are. Definitely not the shoes for me. Hopefully I’ll find a better black canvas shoe on the keds website.

I bought a pair of these shoes (size 7, light grey) every year for a few years now but I probably won't buy another. This year the size is different (smaller), the color is different (clearly a light beige, not grey) and they feel stiffer and less comfortable. The picture shows the differences from past styles (new on the left, old on the right).
