Review Quotes
"Yet another devotional by yet another author from this company! I've read several from them now, and I've come to begin commenting on the covers, not that they're entirely relevant, but this one is gorgeous. As far as the actual book, I loved it from the first paragraph in the introduction! The author shows humility and understanding that I think we all need sometimes. This book is great if you really want to take a deep dive into the Word week by week, day by day. I found the questions very thought-provoking. I found week 6, God is wise, and week 7, God is blameless, to be incredibly interesting reflections. Week 11, called to service, was very unique. There were some editing type errors; half the conclusion was in another language! But overall, this is a great book to take you through the Bible in a year." - Juliana Mae (Amazon)
"This study bible is actually pretty good -- I also believe that God has led me to read this in the right moment in my life when I needed it most. The weekly reflections had a comforting and reassuring tone, nothing strict or accusing. And the journal prompts were actually engaging, thought-provoking, and relevant. They are questions that you should actually try to answer since they are applicable in your life and your walk with God, and not just questions you need to answer for the sake of. My only issues with this study bible is that it could've used another round of editing. There was capitalization inconsistency when it came to He/His referring to God, some words were stuck together when they should've been separate, and there are a handful of punctuation errors. The message was still quite clear, but errors like those does make it distracting. Another thing was that I almost forgot this was a WOMEN'S study bible, since I think it can be easily applicable to men, too.
But still a lovely devotional for long-time believers, and those new to the faith." - N.G. (Amazon)
" This is a well thought-out Bible study with a solid structure for reading through the whole Bible. The topics are grounded in God's Word, but also applicable to everyday life. They do not seem to be specifically directed towards women, so I'm not sure why it's called a Bible study for women; I think both men and women can use this study. The reflection questions are insightful and thought-provoking. Overall very well done-a great resource for studying God's Word." - Alyssa Pebbles (Amazon)
"It's always hard to find time to dig deep and journal. I always have a hard time with journaling, especially with my busy life. I love and appreciated the thought of laying down all worries and concerns! It's hard to lay it out on all the pages, but after each week, it gets easier. I am fairly new to looking more into my faith journey by applying devotionals and journaling, and it has immensely opened new paths of discovery. Download this bible study to become closer with God through your day-to-day life. God is here to accept your sorrows. Let go and let God love" - Skyla Jewell-Hammie (Amazon)
