Women's Women's Legacy Lace Boot

Was so disappointed that the boots felt heavy and hurt my feet. Even without the shoestrings being fully tightened, the front of my toes would go numb after walk a few minutes and then after loosening the strings more, not getting enough ankle support I could feel my toes again. I had read other reviews about pinching in the back of the foot and I had hoped that after a couple more wears it would stop but with more wears it just made the rubbing to blister happen faster. Before I could walk in them for 40+ min, and now after 10 my foot begins to blister and numb. These shoes def are not too small for my feet. This came so highly recommended that I made the investment and I’m sad that after a year I’m going to have to throw them out. Seems like there is product inconsistency too which is another disappointment.

I have a pair of the tall boots and love them so thought I’d try the shorter lace version. I wear a size 6.5 normally and the size 7 fit me in both styles of this boot. But the very first time I wore them, I got blisters on the back of my heels within the first half hour. The lacing doesn’t provide support for the ankle, so to keep the boot stable, you have to tie it tighter at the top so it digs into the shin. It feels abit like wearing a cardboard Kleenex box on your feet. I hope I can find the love for these that other reviewers have, so far the break in period is grim and these don’t feel good for much more than standing still. Or sitting down I guess.

I was looking forward to my first pair of XtraTufs, but unfortunately they didn’t work for me without half sizes. I typically wear a 7.5 (in Keen Hiking boots, for example), and I ordered both the Women’s 8 and 9 in these boots. They looked great, but the 9 was far too big and the 8 was just small enough to be uncomfortable. An 8.5 would have been perfect! I noticed other buyers had the same problem. Super cute and sturdy, and the leather was beautiful, but I will be looking elsewhere! Very sad!

Got theses boots for my Alaska visit. I was a little concerned about how heavy they were but when actually wore them on various hiking adventures that included wet, slippery trails, I was so impressed. The traction was remarkable and did not feel heavy. I used them everyday. Wonderful product.

Runs one size smaller than described. This would be very easy to tell customers in a description.

These boots are top quality! I would say if you are beteeen sizes, definitely size up. I originally bought an 8 (normally wear an 8-8 1/2) and the fit was a little small. They will most certainly keep your feet dry, and they look great with whatever you wear!

They keep my feet warm and dry! I normally wear size 8 and that's what I got. They fit perfect with wool socks but also fit with hand warmers. Most importantly, they are waterproof but somehow also let my feet breathe, so My feet don't sweat.

my wife loves your boats so i ordered the legacy size 7 same as salmon sisters. They were way to small and we had to send them back.

These are the best boots ever. Comfortable, stylish, and no worries about slipping.

After my daughter, an environmental scientist returned from Alaska after conducting salmon surveys, she was sporting xtratuf tall boots with the octopus linings. Down here in the lower 48 (Iowa) we have always worn tall study boots on the farm, now the xtratuf is our “go to” boot, since my daughter gifted a pair of these boots to us! So, for her birthday I bought her a pair of Legacy Lace boots. She put them on and I dare say they have never been taken off! Does she wear them to bed? Perhaps! Thank you for producing a quality boot with hard, cold, wet work in mind! And thank you for making them comfortable, durable and fun too!

They run a bit small. I tried on a friends size 9 and my foot was pretty squished so I went for the 10. They are alittle loose but way better than squished feet after a long day! I'm so glad I tried on a friends for the right fit. The quality is spot on, like the classics. And they look good too.

Got these for my daughter for Christmas & she already snuck & tried them on & loves them.

These would be great if they had the -10* comfort rating of the mens 8” version. The men's version should go down to at least size 6M so women can fit into them. Annoying to find such a discrepancy in quality for women's choices. Was stoked to buy these, now I won't.

These boots did nothing take too long to break in. They could have a better insole but they are pretty comfortable as is. Am so glad to have a boot with a good sole that doesn't slip out from under you. All in all am very pleased with them. Thank you

Received a faulty boot ~~ emailed company & received excellent service ! After answering a couple questions & sending pictures , I soon after received replacement boots at no hassle or cost to me ! Also these boots run snug I ordered up a size & they fit perfect ~~really a comfy boot !

The size is not true to fit, I have the rain boots size 9 and fit great. I ordered 9 and they were way too small so then I ordered a size 10. I already threw the box out so I could not return them. And I expected them to be a bit warmer.

Quality was great but sizing was about 2 sizes off RETURNED didn't reorder

I wasn't sure about these— I followed people's advice and ordered up a size and they are plenty roomy to wear with thick winter socks. They are cute and comfortable. I wear them when I teach an outside class & am on my feet all day. Dress xtratuffs for the win !

I love the boots and expect them to last a long time. Typically I wear a size 8.5 and read other reviews and ordered a size 9. Glad I didn't get an 8 as the 9 is a good fit and maybe a tad small. If you are planning on wearing very thick socks, go up at least a size and a half.

Very happy with my purchase! The boots are surprisingly comfy and the size was a perfect fit for me. I am looking forward to really testing them out as far as the rubber and waterproof part goes!
