It came pretty much assembled. The hinge to unfold the bike is really tough. I ended up taking it to bike source (great guys) for help. You gotta like stomp on it to get it into place. It says it is a 7 speed bike. It is not. It is a single speed bike. I think it will suffice for what I'm doing, but very disappointing as that was one of the main reasons I purchased it.
