A: Fooled us for a time too. There's a TINY red switch between the charging port and infrared receiver that hangs down. Slides left to right, not front to back.

The design, inspired by a well-known character, is certainly eye-catching and fun. Its remote control seems responsive, allowing for relatively easy maneuvering in open spaces. My grandson loves it. As described by the 12 year old, the intended age, the helicopter takes off smooth but is hard to control and hard to break. It has nice LED lights and good sound, amazing gliding.

The controls are very sensitive and it takes a little while to get the hang of. I thought maybe my 3 year old could play with it but the controls are way too touchy for him to play with it effectively. As an adult, I was able to figure it out quickly and adjust to the sensitivity. My advice would be to make it more user friendly and to gear it more towards kids as it’s a kids toy.
Great fun for those who are patient!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ll start this off by saying that I personally had a ton of fun with this little helicopter, but having patience to learn how to properly operate it did not come naturally to my kid - and I can see most kids feeling the same way about it. However, I enjoyed learning to fly it and troubleshooting issues that rose along the way (such as adding some counterweight to prevent it from just spinning in circles). It’s definitely very small, but perfect for inside play. It’s made to be lightweight and it took more crashes than I expected to need a repair, so bonus points for durability! The range and battery life were better than expected, as well. Overall, a great value but just be aware that the learning process can be extensive!
Marvel Helicopter Toy is a great fun toy.

The toy was still in perfect condition. It was easy to set up and connect the controller. Once you got a hand of the controls flying was a breeze. The battery life lasted a decent while. This toy is the perfect entertainment. It will keep kids and adults occupied for hours.

It worked better for me indoors as there is no wind. The battery life is very short and the quality isn’t the best but it was fun to fly around for a little bit!

Instructions say to change the frequency but no instruction on how to do so. Could not find a switch on either the remote or helicopter.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I saw a lot of negative reviews about the Spiderman Hornet Helicopter, and some of them are true—it can be tricky to control, crashes a lot, and the battery doesn’t last long. But the design is neat, and my nephew enjoyed it for a few minutes, before it crashed and broke. It's definitely NOT a durable toy. Unless you want a kid extremely disappointed, steer clear from this one! (Note: After it crashed and broke, my husband trashed it, so I don't have any pictures of it "in-flight.")

We had about an hour of fun with it, and let me tell you this thing goes HIGH! A lot higher than we anticipated. Hence why we’re unable to get it out of the tree lol I’ll definitely be buying another and ensuring we only use it in an open field with no trees around.

Crashed it into the wall lots of time and still up and running. I played it with my 8 year old and it not easy to control. Took a few time to get used to the take off without it crashing into something. Flying it was not easy to control the direction it is going since it keeps moving in a circular direction. But it’s so fun one in the air flying around. Might just need more time to get used to the controls. Also like the sensor that allows it to fly when it senses your hand.
