New features and improvements include a powerful brushless motor, that offers 25% more power, 50% greater run time, and 10% longer life of the tool. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This has to be the best part of drill and driver combo. You could have not made a combo power tool. I love it

Got this to replace an old yellow 12V drill for which the batteries were not worth replacing. I usually drill pilot holes, so the main selling point of quickly switching chucks appealed to me. Used the tool for a major project + other small jobs around the home, and these are my thoughts. There is a feeling of disconnection between the screw and Switchdriver. If you try to rotate the driver manually to feel the resistance of a driven screw, the driver will rotate freely almost 90 degrees before motor resistance grabs (in contrast to my old yellow drill which only rotates 20-30 degrees). This makes it difficult to use the Switchdriver with an angle adapter in tight spots, getting the bit seated in the screw, etc. The torque that you can manually apply is limited since the chuck is not mechanically locked while inactive - if you ran out of battery power and just wanted to finish driving the screw by manually rotating the driver, it might not be possible. The clutch system activates only at extremely high torque levels, making it unusable for tasks like drilling #6-#10 screws into softwood, installing drywall - it will overdrive screws. You're left to driving the screws mostly by sight, easing off the trigger as the screw drives home. My yellow drill's clutch setting went from 1-23, which I usually kept at around 11 to prevent overdriving in wood. The Switchdriver's entire range feels like it's between 18 and 23 on that scale. The chuck switching feature isn't much faster than switching hex bits with a standard drill/driver, because you still need two hands to do it. What would make it a real advantage is if the Switchdriver's chucks could be swapped one-handed. Would like to see that in a 3.0 version. One flaw which could be potentially dangerous, the hole where the belt clip's screw is intended to be threaded into has a nut inside, but that nut seems to be only friction fitted inside the plastic body. Without using much force I accidentally pushed that nut out of its seat such that it rattled loose inside the drill body. It could get stuck somewhere in the mechanism, and if there are exposed electronics inside, the conductive steel nut could cause a short circuit, in worst case leading to fire. I was able to shake the nut out of the drill body. (see attached photo with the extracted nut). What I like about the tool: - compact, light, yet solid sturdy feel - good trigger control - surprisingly powerful for its size - LED spotlight does not flicker - a nice feature with all the Worx tools I own (though the blue indicator display does flicker)

Time is everything! When you have a tool that performs and saves me time. Then that's what I want. I borrowed this drill from a friend, and that's all it took for me. This is my go-to drill for all my projects. The lightweight, strength, and versatility make it a valuable piece of equipment in my tool bag.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was using a good-quality cordless drill to replace the boards on my 20-year-old porch. Drilling a hole, then switching bits to put in a screw, and switching back to start the process over again was time-consuming, tedious, and tiring. Staying on my old-man knees was wearing me out! I already had some Worx tools (chain saw, grass trimmers, and pruning saw) so I was familiar with their quality and design, and had several batteries. I decided to try their Nitro 2.0 Switchdriver and I wasn't disappointed. It's simple to use, easy to switch bits--even one handed when needed--and had all the power I needed to change out those worn-out boards with new ones quickly. Finding the right torque to use was easier than on my old drill. Now I can swap out 3 or 4 boards in the time it took to change 1! My knees are much better now!

I ordered this product because my husband did not have time to start a project. I did not like his oversized clunky electric tool. Was amazing to use. Now I walk around trying to find things to use it on!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this drill driver with hopes it would make drilling and screwing in deck screw easy without changing bits. It worked great for about a year and started to putter when the trigger was pressed. So I thought maybe the batteries might be bad so I purchased a new battery with the same results. I tried to look to see if this might be a common problem with very little success. So I would say great tool when it worked but a little disappointed with the life of the tool

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This tool keeps me from changing bits every time. I can drill a pilot hole, then insert the screw just by rotating the drive head. Brilliant! I have several 20v tools and yard care devices. They work great for my needs.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The only problem that I have experienced is that the trigger locks up going from clockwise to counter clockwise. Hoping that it sorts itself out soon and gets warn in working better then it is at present. Otherwise love the driver seems to be as functional as my old model with brushes in the motor.

When I ordered this it didn't look very stout. When it arrived,it didn't look or feel very stout. But once I started using it I was totally surprised. It has great torque. It drove 3inch screws effortlessly. I have used this quite a few times and I am amazed at how stout it is. The switch capability is great. I thought this was a good idea, and it is, but it's torque and stoutness continues to amaze me.

This tool is my favorite drill by a long shot. The ability to drill a hole and insert a screw without changing bits is a game changer. I used to use 2 drills in the past for projects with one drill with a drill bit and the other with a screw driver bit. Now, I just load both bits in this drill and I am good to go. I wish someone would have invented one of these years ago.

As an owner of the original switchdriver I have been waiting for an upgrade to this very useful tool. I have used the original on a regular basis for years. It has always been my go to tool when standing on a ladder, and having to drill a pilot hole and then drive a screw. No need to get off the ladder to get a separate tool to finish the job. The new improved driver is a very welcome upgrade since it features more power and is also lightweight. I got mine as soon as it became available. Very pleased. Thanks for a great driver.

This new SwitchDriver 2.0 is Brushless, more powerful and compact. Feels ergonomic and it has a digital display and buttons letting you quickly switch the setting to Drill or Drive modes. Needless to say, the Dual speed and Rotating Dual chucks are awesome and work excellent for Drilling and Driving. I can use the same 20V Power Share batteries from my several other Worx tools and the SwitchDriver 2.0 completes my Worx Drill/Driver collection- as I also own the Worx Nitro Hammer Drill and Impact Driver - which work amazingly well. Highly recommedn this product. As always Worx delivers yet again! Hey @WorxTools, now you should up your game and let us know when can we expect a new Worx Cordless Table Saw and a Worx Cordless Router ;) ?
