Description
The 2-in-1 Bag & Mulch 40V Lawn Mower from Worx has all the power and advantages of a traditional mower, without the drawbacks. Battery-powered mowers are quieter, more efficient and cost effective, and cleaner to use for both you and the environment. And with double the power and double the runtime, this mower offers gas-like performance.
The two 20V batteries in this model to give it 40V of power, and this version comes with two 4.0 Ah batteries. That’s twice as much charge as the standard 2.0 Ah rechargeable batteries, for twice the runtime. You can mow up to 1/8 acre per charge. And we tossed in a dual-port charger, so you can “fill up” quickly. It takes 2 hours to charge both or if you just need one battery for another Worx PowerShare tool, you can charge one in just an hour.
This is a modern mower with modern features. Intellicut gives you extra torque when the grass is thicker, and then lets you dial it back down to conserve energy when the terrain is smooth. The six cutting height positions range from 1.5”-4.0”, and the cut-to-edge placement of the blades lets you get closer to the house or garden for less trimming later.

Guests are saying
The mower has received a mix of positive and negative feedback from guests. Many appreciate its lightweight design, quiet operation, and ease of use, making it ideal for small to medium-sized yards. The battery life, however, has been a common concern, with some guests wishing for longer usage times. Overall, it is a convenient option for those looking to avoid gas mowers, but guests have noted issues with cutting height and performance on thicker grass.

My safe key got stuck in the control and broke when I tried to get it out. Having a very difficult time finding a replacement and some advice. May have to buy a new mower which won't be a worx.

WONDERFUL MOWER

I LOVE IT! The 40V Power Share 4.0Ah 14" Cordless Lawn Mower is wonderful. I lost my husband a year or so ago leaving me with all the lawn and garden work for the first time in 50 years. He also left me with a very heavy (approx 80lb) lawn mower. I struggled with it for one season, my lawn has quite a slope on it, but couldn’t face it again this year. I was in danger of really hurting myself. I have a number of Worx tools and I knew I could trust them as a company so decided to try one of their cordless lawn mowers (approx 29lbs). What a joy. It mows beautifully and is like floating on air. The battery lasts long enough for me to do the mowing that I need to do. I couldn’t be happier.

Nice easy to use lawnmower especially for older ladies like me. The cut is close, it handles easy and is very lightweight. Perfect for me to use going up and down a sloped bank.

This is a lightweight great mower. I have a large yard and bought this for the misc work. It works well. 2hrs to charge will get you 30+ min. It cuts rough tough areas. Very happy with this purchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Buy only if you have a teeny tiny lawn, barely runs 30 minutes after full charge and feels like a toy. The handle arrangement is flimsy and need to be constantly readjusted. Keeping it because of the haste of disassembly and packing. Spend more and get a better machine

Hello There! Thank you for taking the time to share your experience and review! We greatly appreciate your honest feedback as it gives us a better understanding of where we need to improve. Runtimes can vary depending on a number of factors, including but not limited to grass texture and consistency, cutting height, and lawn size. For added runtime, we recommend purchasing an additional pair of high-capacity batteries, such as the 4.0Ah, 5.0Ah, or 8.0Ah batteries. Thank you for choosing Worx!

I am disabled so I need light weight garden tools to maintain my yard. I love my worx lawnmower and trimmer. I save money cutting my own grass and mulching my own leaves for composting.

Although this looks almost like a kids toy next to a full-sized mower, it has been performing wonderfully. The size is perfect for easy maneuvering, and the light weight (30-some pounds) makes it easy to pick up should the need arise. Performance has been excellent, especially in mulch mode. It mulches grass as effectively as my Toro Recycler mower. It doesn't do as good of a job mulching a heavy leaf cover on the grass in the fall, but it handles grass mulching like a champ. The build quality is decent with one exception: the wheels. They are lightweight plastic and not nearly as sturdy as I would have liked. Also, the blade was pretty dull right out of the box. I sharpened it, and it performed much better. I get nearly 3 lawn cuts before the 4Ah packs give out. I also use this with the 8Ah packs I got for my Worx snowblower, and can get nearly 7 cuts before they give out. While this is not the mower to get if you have acres to mow, if you have a small lot (mine is 1/4 acre) it's fantastic. Light, easy to use, a snap to maneuver around obstacles/planting beds, but it still has more than enough power to get a good cut.
I will always have a Worx product.

I have always been a fan of any Worx product since before the pandemic. This product is the best yet. Even though it is battery powered, it handles like a heavy-duty mower that runs by gas. It is still eco-friendly, yet powerful enough to get the job done. I am very happy with this product.

I wanted to buy a couple of replacement blades because they get dinged up pretty badly in this rocky area. They apparently no longer make them. So why are they still selling the mower? This is ethically wrong. Avoid.

14" Cordless Lawn Mower 1 year in

To be honest, I didn't have a lot of faith in this mower, but here we are a year later and this mower hasn't missed a beat. For transparency, I bought it for a 85'x90' fence area, and I'm the only one that uses it. I'm writing this review because I just now, 4-20-2025, gave it it's hardest job to date. The mixture of grass and weeds was embarrassingly overgrown, and wet closer to the ground. This little 14" mower went through it like a mini-champ. All that happened was the batteries drained faster. Nice job Worx.

My gas mower had issues, so I bought this since I have other Worx products. It works well, lightweight, and since I have a small uard, I can mow it about three times on a charge. The intellicut is nice, keeping the revs slower for thin grass bit kicks it up for thicker grass. My complaint is that it's a sloppy cut. When done, I find areas of grass it didn't cut. From a distance, you don't really see it, but walking around the yard, I see many areas it just didn't mow. I also am concerned that I can't buy a replacement blade, which is odd for a new item. Compared to my petrol mower, it's lighter and easier, but just doesn't mow or mulch as good.

Mows WAY TOO HIGH on the Lowest Setting

This lawn mower is pretty cool, and I like most everything about it -- EXCEPT for one major thing. On the lowest setting, it still mows WAY TOO HIGH. I literally have to mow every 4 days in the growing season to keep my lawn looking nice. It is ridiculous! If you have St Augustine or Zoysia - forget it. I'm so disappointed and may have to figure out how to box it up and send it back. I don't have time to mow every 4 days.
