The ultra-portable and easy to handle Worx Nitro WX531L.9 20V Power Share WORXSAW 4.5 in. Cordless Compact Circular Saw with Brushless Motor might be small, but it’s more than powerful enough to get the job done. With 6900 RPM of no-load speed, it’s able to spin the blade as fast as cordless circular saws that are much larger. The 4.5 in. blade only has a 3/8 in. arbor. That’s half the size of a traditional circular saw’s blade, and it allows the motor to push the blade to higher speeds. And the user benefits from having all that power in an easy to grip and easy to transport form factor. In fact, this compact circular saw weighs less than 4 lbs., so it’s much easier to maneuver and make tricky cuts with than a full-size circ saw. Speaking of cuts, this 4.5 in. circular saw was made to cut 2x4s and plywood. With a max cutting depth of 1.5 in., it slices right through. And 0-46 degree bevel cuts are as easy as setting the bevel-adjustment lever. This cordless circular saw is driven by a high-efficiency brushless motor. It doles out more power but uses less battery while doing so, which means you get more runtime on just one charge. I bought the Worx 3 3/8 inch circular saw because it would bevel cut. It worked ok with straight cutting, although I found the cutting guide useless on most lumber. When I went to use it for bevel cutting it would not function. The lumber was only 3/4 thick, well within the product capability as described. I had to rent a bevel cut saw to complete my project. I see the 3 3/8 saw isn't for sale anymore and I suspect this is why. Don't believe the hype about this saw cutting bevel cuts, as it is only slightly bigger than the 3 3/8 saw I got.

I bought this to cut trim for a bathroom reno - and found it very capable. I have used it to cut all kinds of things since: 3/4" MDF, 1/2" plywood, 2X4s, and PVC pipe. I added a second guide to make long cuts on the plywood and it does a great job. I have experienced excellent battery duration. Highly recommend!

Beyond great price and quality this tool is so easy to use especially in tight spaces…and since it’s comfortable and easy to use my wife is now I seeing it and not asking me to do the cutting…so it’s a great value too…along with my other WORX tools… love them all…

I hope this will help someone decide if they should purchase this tool. I bought this tool to cut 2" pink close cell foam board. Per a YouTube posting, if you turn the blade around, it will cut the board with very little dust. It works like a charm. Maybe down the road I will install the blade correctly and see how it cuts lumber. I have 4 other Worx cordless tools and they are not bad for light duty jobs. So if you are a weekend DIY person, might give their tools a try.

Problem #1 is this saw does not cut 2x4's plain and simple..should be good for plywood or 1 bys but that's about it..Do yourself a favor and buy at least the 5 1/2" saw..

I'm a remodeling contractor and my work can often be very demanding. I need tools that are not only heavy duty, but rugged as well. I purchased this tool to finish installing laminate flooring and it did well for a while. The blade bent after a few hours use and the cuts were not straight. The base is not very sturdy and although I like the tool, I should have opted for the corded version.

I purchased this saw to finish a laminate flooring job. Out of the box I liked the light weight and how it felt in my hand. At work the saw cut well but it didn't feel heavy duty but it's too soon to tell if it will stand the test of time.

Excellent product. Comes with a storage case. Highly recommend for those looking for less than 4 lb saw but one that will get the job done. Only thing I would add is a key in this kit to be able to remove/change the blades on the saw (as it is an odd shape).

To replace all that power sawing I purchased the Nitro 20V Power Share Worxsaw 4.5" Cordless Compact Circular Saw with Brushless Motor [at the time rated higher tat the top brand. Wow, right off the back I threw it to the wolves building a massive Cordless Tool Storage Cabinet in my garage. Lo and behold the Worxsaw more than paid dividends ... it easily and effortlessly sawed through many, many boards of varying sizes and thicknesses ... NO PROBLEM. Pros: Lightweight, powerful, easy to handle, ability to handle large ad small jobs [I often cut two boards at once], convenient and surprisingly more than fair priced.. Cons: I have none. I highly recommend the Nitro 20V Power Share Worxsaw 4.5" Cordless Compact Circular Saw with Brushless Motor

I bought this just a few weeks ago. We have been remodeling, and in order to cut my wall panels with my standard circular saw, I had to have help. I received the Pegasus work table as a Christmas gift, and then I ordered the saw, then I finished all the cuts, perfectly, by myself! The saw is smaller, lighter, and easier to handle, and if fully adjustable. Don't wait if you are considering it! Well worth it!
