Love this for my toddler it’s very helpful the only problem was the marker went out after the first use. I recommend to purchase separate markers

Honestly love this little thing. I didn't even know how to begin teaching my son how to write. For a 3 year old this is tons of fun. He has a blast even erasing it all on his own. Initially I thought it was pointless objects but really has fine tuned his pen control. After a few weeks of "school book" he's doing great and enjoys when I bring it out. I did upgrade the pen and got the bigger packs. Wipes well with a paper towel and baby wipe.

This is a good starter book for kids learning their letters and numbers. It has other activities such as tracing, colors, and shapes. But the majority of the pages go through the alphabet and numbers. Since it’s a get ready for pre k workbook, I would have liked to see more variety in the activities. It’s also a smaller book, but overall not bad.

I love the size of this book. My daughter is 3 and is practicing tracing and identifying numbers and letters. This book has been great practice for her and seems like she will not get bored with it. I love how we can wipe off the pages and do it again.

We love this activity book so much we gifted it to our preschool-age friends. We didn’t have any issues with the marker, but we can always purchase others from another brand if needed. My 5, 3, and 1 year old kids all use this, and it wipes perfectly clean each time! You can see in one photo my 5 y/o did her letters beautifully and then the 1 y/o joined in on the fun lol. We LOVE that the images are ethnically inclusive! It does a great job helping with identifying/ distinguishing shapes. I have included photos as examples of my favorite features mentioned in my review :) Not to mention, the price is amazing! Must-buy. #addtocart

The activities are just okay and there aren't too many. I purchased a lot of pre-k books for my home schooled pre-k kid this year (thanks to covid). This was not one of the better ones.

My three year old loves this book! We’ve had no issues with the pen so far and have been using it for a couple of weeks.

I purchased this item for a Valentine's day gift for my son. On first use, the pen point pushed up and into the pen. My son has very light handwriting, and writing is very hard for him, so he wasn't pushing hard. I took this back to the store to exchange it. I exchanged the item in early March for a brand new book. Within two-three weeks of minimal use (so used maybe twice one week, twice the next), the pen had dried up! We kept the lid on and were careful with the pen after the first experience. I called Scholastic to report the issue and let them know that this product didn't last or work well. I would expect the pen to dry up after several months or a lot of use, but not so quickly. The book itself is really nice, and a good size to fit into a purse or small kid's book bag. That is the only reason why I gave this product two stars instead of one. But I don't recommend buying the product unless you plan on buying several pen replacements to go with the book in case it breaks on first use like ours did.
