Q: Why is this being advertised as including 6000 gel pellets and the two jars are empty?

A: It include 6,000 gel pellets. They come in a dehydrated form inside the jars, which is why the jars may look empty at first. Simply soak the pellets in water as instructed.

Q: Do the gel beads break when they hit you? Just asking because I don’t live somewhere where we can play with these outside but I also don’t want it to be a huge mess inside or potentially even stain the rug

Got this on clearance for like 6 bucks at my local target. Don't let the seemingly missing ammo and negative reviews fool you, these are great blasters and yes, the ammo is included - it is just hidden in the bottom left corner of the box in segmented plastic wrappers. Been having a ton of fun with these - the hoppers can hold a deceptively large amount of ammo and the blasters are decently accurate. Sometimes it double-feeds, but I personally consider that a feature rather than a bug - kind of like random crits in video games. The blasters are decently accurate, eye protection is included, and it comes with enough ammo to last through multiple duels - probably more than most people would realistically use before they move on to another blaster or hobby. A good deal at 20 bucks and a no-brainer purchase at more than 50% off if you have even a fleeting interest in gel blasters.
