I was under the impression that this would be sold as a new controller but I was wrong. The controller's box was already opened, as I saw a tear on the top of the box. Not only that but the Game Pass voucher included was already expired. While the controller was fine after purchase, from the reviews here, I would just buy a brand new controller, or get a third party controller off Amazon with hall effect controllers

These controllers only last 4 months tops before they start getting stick drift. I have 5 controllers right now that are just over priced paper weights now basically. I’d recommend going on Amazon and buying a controller with Hall effect joysticks they’re wired but no stick drifts and also cheaper.

Clearly got an opened/refurbishes controller that was sold as "new". Controller had scuffs on it, the cord was rolled up and thrown in the box, and the Xbox ultimate code was used. What a joke!

The controller I received was dusty and grimy, clearly used, and the USB C cable that it came with wasn't wrapped with any packaging or ties, just loosely in the container. Also, I don't know if this controller comes with AA batteries when new, but this one came with no batteries. As this is advertised as a new product this is unacceptable. Additionally, it's frustrating that when requesting a replacement I'm expected to send the controller back before a replacement will be sent when Target is at fault. I should be a sent a new item, which I've paid for an not yet received, before being expected to send it back. I usually like Target but this was a bad experience and I don't recommend anyone buy this item from Target as there are several other reviews here with people who had the same experience.

I liked that it was easy to set up for my laptop, when it came to my house it had some dust one it. Not sure if it was used or not. Also, when using it wirelessly with blue tooth, it sometimes stop connecting for a while until I press the Xbox home button. I will provide a update if it stops working but at the moment it’s fine. I would recommend using the usb with this controller to not loose connection with your pc.

I bought mine in the Black Friday 2020 sale and it has been a much better controller than all the previous micro USB controllers I’ve owned. I use it for PC gaming and haven’t had any problems with disconnecting or the USB C port getting loose, like my previous micro usb controller did. The texture is a little funky and bumpy but as long as you don’t have a death grip on your controller, it won’t bother you.
