Great tasting gum.
Great taste. Longer lasting flavor than most similar natural sugarless gums.

No corn Xylitol Gum
I had checked with this company and they do not use corn based Xylitol, instead using birch based Xylitol, that is why I purchase this gum. It has good flavor and brightens up my mouth!

Great Tasting Gum At A Great Price
I purchased a pack of this gum for the first time just a few weeks ago and found it to have a great taste that lasts a long time and the gum was fresh, unlike some other similar type xylitol sweetened gum I have purchased in the past. I see that Swanson has a larger container of this gum available and I will be purchasing it with my next order. Definitely a BIG step up from previously purchased brands.

Gum I like, but I have concerns with all xylitol.
Let me first start-off by saying some positives. It tastes refreshing, with gum pieces that are generously sized, even bigger than other xylitol-based chewing gum brands with the exact same piece count at 100 as some other brands. Let me also say that I am wearing braces. Now I know it is probably a bad idea to chew gum with them on, BUT this gum is supposedly beneficial to your gums and teeth; and I am careful when I chew, so as to not get gum tangled in-between my braces. I have yet to have any noticeable major tangle issues with the gum after going through the WHOLE jar. I'm not stating that this is OK for people with braces to do the same; but I am saying that I have had some success chewing gum with them on. Choose at your own risk, fellow braces-wearers! One of the negatives that I have, is the current discount at the time that I am reviewing this product, which is only %17. I would have liked to have seen at least %25 off on a website that boasts discounts. My biggest concern with this and ALL xlitol-containing products is how xylitol is made. I researched this online, and although I am not allowed to post the website here due to governmental regulations, it's pretty easy to find on a popular website. It starts off as xylan, (a hemicellulose which can be found in cell walls), which is then hydrolyzed into xylose, (a sugar isolated from wood), and now the part that I don't like the most: it is then catalytically HYDROGENATED into xylitol. So long story short, xylitol is a chemical, NOT a natural substance anymore. With all of that said, I am concerned with the over-all safety of xylitol due to how it is made, but I do not know enough about it yet. It is claimed to be pretty safe by many people; BUT in my short life time, I have come to believe that point on safety can change over time, with many products, natural or not. Final thoughts: If you want a gum with a natural spearmint flavor that is sweetened with xylitol and has generous-sized pieces; and if the information that I typed here about xylitol in general does not really concern you; then here is a choice to consider.

Very good chewing gum
This new option for Swanson is very similar to Epic xylitol gum yet noticeably cheaper. Enjoy while it is competitively priced!
